  • Are there any threads around here about Ohio State Football anymore, or are they all about logging off and taking a break because so and so said something that so and so didn't like, or complaining about how ESPN hates us? I just hope our football team doesn't take on the identity of our message board because the last several days it's reminded me a lot of Brent Bielema lol.

  • It's a message board, things like this will happen in the off-season when things are slow. I do agree that there is too much whining going on about trolls, disagreements and whatever else people are upset about. Time to man up, it's a message board for Christ's sake not something life-threatening.

    yah all the politics crap is old.....and im sick of hearing about ESPN....they hate us...we all know about it...stop watching....people that bitch about talking heads, keep those assholes employed. If nobody cared they wouldnt have jobs.

    and the whole SEC paying everyone...it happens everywhere...including Ohio State.

    Yes, there are, and I've actually seen them! It's true that I've seen some of what you're talking about, but most people around here are still attuned to football. At this time of year, there's a lot out there about basketball, which is to be expected. Right now, I think most of us football fanatics are just waiting for the next recuit to commit.

    Haha, I upvoted you. I think the voting system is a lot of the problem around here. Everyone just posts things that go along with the majority in order to receive upvotes, instead of posting what they actually think. Obviously there are idiots like Tornado Zadar who get downvoted just because they're obnoxious, but there are times when downvotes are used just because someone doesn't agree. I think the voting system is part of the reason all these emotional alliances are forming, maybe we need to start having donkeys and elephants in our profile pictures so we can use our votes straight party ticket style lol.

    This post was very clever the 1st time it was used about 6 posts ago, and the billions of times before that on message boards around the world lol. However, it's not nearly as brilliant as it appears if it's not just taken for face value.That's like saying if a kid is constantly whining and complaining you shouldn't tell them it's annoying because you would be complaining about them doing it. I guess if you told them it was annoying and asked them to stop you would just be contributing to the problem according to this theory.

    yah as soon as someone posts something intelligent, not dissing anybody, just different view point or opinion you get downvoted. Its silly, if eveyrone put as much energy into real voting, this country wouldnt be in the shitter

    like you posting on the thread? haha, I agree in principle, but it's damn near impossible to avoid this type of stuff here, and its the offseason, our basketball team has been dissapointing, and recruiting is slow. So what else to do other than piss and moan?
