We will be B1G Champs

  • The next two games are Indiana and Purdue. Those games are going to help Braxton progress and give him more confidence. After that we have Penn State at home. That will be a tough game, BUT Posey returns and i am sure he will make a huge impact. This team will be dangerous in a few weeks. People can continue to say Luke has no HC experience and the offensive coaching staff is a joke, but When the Buckeyes are in BCS bowl at the end of the year all the haters can put a foot in their mouths.

    well... do you remember going to Purdue and losing a couple seasons ago? its college football, anybody can beat anybody. I doubt Indiana has a chance against us, but you never know. Especially with this young OSU team, anything can happen. With that said, I still think we win out, but will not be easy! Go Bucks

    Well if I was the coach I wouldn't be looking past Purdue, Penn St, or scUM. None of them are gimmies.

    And if the NCAA gives OSU a one, two or three year Bowl ban it wont matter if we win them all we wont be playing in the BIG championship.

  • If we win the championship this year, the rest of the conference should be downright embarrassed! I'll use an analogy...it's like the NCAA dropped an atomic bomb on us before the war started so all we were left to fight with were twigs and sticks while everyone else was fully manned and gunned. For us to come back and even be in the hunt just goes to show even in a down year we're still stacked and are always dangerous. I think we win it this year too

    Winning the Big 10 with the most talented team in the league is expected buddy. He has no experience excpet for the games he's coached this year with someone's elses staff and players. You just assume he's going to recriut and develop players uber well...

    Purdue is a trap game, they have to be careful there.

    Some people are absolutely morons. I cna tell your just repeating someone else's post from like beginning of the season. Fickell has 8 games under his belt, of course he has HC experience. He might not have years, but he now has experience. And the team is surely geting more and more confident each and every game. That Wisconsin game just proves that OSU is way better than their record shows. Because OSU could easily be undefeated in the Big ten right now. They barely lost to Michigan State. They lost at the last second to Nebraska after dominating most of that game. And the heart they displayed against a Wisky team who we all thought was gonna blow us out by 30 points.

    There should be no more complaints or excuses for this team. Yes, Bollman is gone after this year. But thank god they benched Bauserman, and stuck with Miller. Miller is proving he has what it takes to turn this program around in the future. And yes, OSU has an opportunity to win the Leaders division if Penn State loses to OSU and one more team.

    Down vote because i disagree that LF has doesnt have HC experience and that the OP who is obviously on crack, praising our offensive coaching staff? I have nothing against LF and am in the Meyer camp. If LF is retained great, I would only hope he gets rid of some of the dead ass weight that is hurting this team.

    8 games? So if a coach, coaches 1 game does he have experience? Maybe you should listen more to the morons.

    Purdue is a trap game, they have to be careful there.

    They are not someone else's recruits. Fickell was the best recruiter on Tressels staff and the talent on defense is because of him. Talent doesn't lead to wins especially when your young recievers cant catch balls and you have a true freshman quarterback who is only 18. The eagles are by far the most talented team in the NFL how is that working out for them?

    Good post Finezt. I agree. Um and PSU are 7-1 and people talk about them as being smoke and mirror teams.Braska 1st year coming into the B10 has one of the toughest schedules and are projected to win the B10. OSU has an earthquake in there program and we have a good chance of going to the title game. That's pathetic.

    Luke has kept this team together. But maybe he should take sometime and study the forward pass. You win and should feel happy. This year I don't. I want what everyone wants, and that's for OSU to dominate. I understand it's hard to do that every single year. But entertain me please. I don't want to see 3 Rb's in the game every single play. I want slants, screens, te passes. I want my coach to show emotion, show that he has a pulse when coaching. I want my coach talking to his freshman QB. when he makes a bad play, I want my coaches to make halftime adjustments to dominate from start to finish, and not let the other teams back in the game every 4th qrt.

    If and we used that word "IF" alot on here, Luke stays, you people who worship him, be prepared to take your lumps in the future.

    Yeah Chu, Penn State's the worst 7-1 team (or whatever their record is) i've ever seen. This was the year that everyone could tee off on us because we were obviously weaker than normal by all means. Whoever the coach is next year can NOT have this offensive philosophy because you won't be beating anyone elite when all you do is run and rarely attempt to pass. This year has been by far the most inept offense i've ever seen at this level. With that being said, the next few weeks is gonna be a nice 4 game stretch to close out the conference because just 1 loss can hurt alot of teams
