Who do you guys think the next commit is BESIDES Heuerman? I already think he committed and he is just waiting until Friday. I think that Pocic might commit next.
This has been the strangest yet most exciting recruiting that I've ever witnessed at OSU, kids are committing that I had no idea we even offered and there also committing in the middle of the week out of seemingly nowhere. So there could still be a kid out of Florida or somewhere that commits and it blows your mind but most likely this class has filled up to where Meyer is becoming much more selective, with that I agree that Pocic might be next but wont be surprised if someone jumps out of nowhere like how Sprinkle and Barrett committed.
I'm going to guess Pocic. The press has to be on by the coaches for OL players. Depending on which recruiting service you go by, we have offers out to 2 to 6 uncommitted OL recruits. Pocic is the only one all the recruiting services seem to agree we've even offered. If we pull an O-lineman or two out of a hat other than Pocic, though, I'd love to see us land Laremy Tunsil out of Lake City, FL, or Dorian Johnson from Belle Vernon, PA.
Jaylon Smith is an absolute beast. Bleacher Report thinks its between the Buckeyes and the Irish. The #6 recruit in the country wouldn't be the worst pickup ever.
Most analysts say it's between Notre Dame and Ohio State for Bishop Luers linebacker Jaylon Smith. Shelton Gibson
I agree it may be Shelton Gibson since he has already set his announcement date for I think 6/20(?). So after Heuerman and Gibson I would lean towards Vonn Bell. So far tOSU has been his best visit. He could be one that comes as a surprise. Kind of like Marcus Baugh.

If you go position by position.
QB- done
RB- most likely done
WR- 2 for sure (could be gibson and then quick/allen/ treadwell/ other)
FB- none
TE- 1 more ( Huerman)
OL - 1-2 (pocic/ tunsil/ Johnson/Gray/Latham/ rodgers/other)
DE- most likely done
DT- maybe 1 (munger/hurst)
LB- Done ( make room for j. smith)
cb/s- 1 if its the right guy (bell/ worley/ day or should i even say thomas)
Think Meyer and Co know who they want to finish the class and will wait on a few guys and then go to plan b. Think its just WR and OL that are in need. All of that is a stretch numbers wise unless there is some attrition. However the only place i see an issue with numbers and playing time is the DL. With the talented underclassmen and this season's experience they could be setting up nicely for a NC run in 2013 and who would want to leave that?

Jalin Marshall is pretty nasty. QB in high school will likely make the move to WR. Always a wildcat or wildbuck-eye threat. May not be Ohio State football, but IS Urban Meyer football.
Urban Meyer enters his first year as the head man of the Ohio State football program in Columbus, looking to bring the Buckeyes to national prominence in 2012. One sure way to win over the fans is to secure future talent on the recruiting trail. Meyer is known for his aggressive recruiting style as evidence during his years at Utah and Florida. The class of 2013, is shaping up nicely. The quarterback position struggled for Ohio State in 2011 so acquiring the commitment from JT Barrett is a crucial step. Barrett is the number one dual-threat quarterback in the nation and fits perfectly in Meyer's option philosophy. Bleacher Report's Michael Felder explains what makes Barrett so dynamic. Joining Barrett is in-state prospect Jalin Marshall. The number two athlete in the country is expected to play wide receiver in Columbus for the Scarlet and Gray. Find out what other athlete make up this tremendous 2013 recruiting class from Meyer and the Buckeyes on this week's episode of "In the Bleachers".
