Really? You honestly think they are going to AVERAGE between 6 and 8 guys a year going to the NFL for the next four years? You must honestly believe that they are going to challenge for NC's every year for the next four, because if you assume that most guys are going to start for 2 years (rarely are there 1 year starters...statistically, there are more 3 year starters across CFB than 1 year) then nearly 100% of their starters will be on an NFL team at some point...in the words of Cris Carter..."COME 'ON...MAAAAAN"!

I also love how the guy goes back 15 years (to the undefeated scUM shared NC season) to say that "since our best season since the Wilson administration, we have more wins than you"...he conveniently leaves off those mid-90s years where OSU was 10+ wins every year...
Troll, please leave.

They still have alot of holes, but Robinson can mask them. He is a great college player, no doubt about it. I think they will hit a bit of a speedbump when he leaves.
Gardiner may be a better passer, but he is in no way the threat Denard is.
Meatchiken still lacks a secondary, which they have no had since Woodson played there.
They have been recruiting heavilly OL, but they have always had a strong line. I cant remember when O-Line play was ever a problem for them.
They were also fortunate to play a very easy schedule last year and got PSU and OSU on uncharacteristically BAD years and they didnt play Wisky.
There OOC schedule was a joke.
But Denard is the wildcard,he keeps them in games.
As long as he is there, they have a chance to play well.

that was a season without a coach....Wtf? What was our record the year before? Now We have urban Meyer what will our record be with him? We played a season without basically Four offensive starters. what would Mich be without denard Robinson? Ohio State Never Left, we had one season that was bad, due to Having no Coach and our seniors being supended.......and we still ran scum to the wire.......We are Ohio State......And by the end of next season you will recognize that

Michigan was also undefeated in 12 other seasons: 1879, 1880, 1884, 1885, 1886, 1887, 1898, 1910, 1922, 1930, 1973, 1992
22 could be 35+ but Michigan choose classes over football most of those years

And, if he is so good, why was he your third choice for HC?
Harbaugh was your Urban Meyer eqivalent and not only did you not get him, you didnt even get your second choice. Now you are going to talk up a coach after one season in which you lost to your big brother (again) and lost to Iowa. Congrats on the once in a decade win over OSU. It very well could be another decade before you get another W. The Tatoo incident and the subsequent firing of Tress will turn out to be the worst case scenario for Michigan. In reality, you have no chance of competeing with OSU on a regular basis now that we have a full staff of legit coaches to go with the top tier talent.

you really shouldnt post if you have no idea what you are talking about.Michigan has had 9 CB's drafted since Woodson - Leon Hall , Marlin Jackson etc.Michigan could be better with out Denard (he lead the nation in turnovers 2 straight years) Michigan will probably have the best secondary in NCAA in 2013 ; top 8 kids all returning 5 of them were on the All Big ten teams (1st 2nd or honorable mention) Scouts group rankings for 2013 Michigan secondary was number 1 in the nation SOS was 1st in conference and the ONLY team to play 4 non-conference teams with 6+ wins... people read post like yours and might actually think the things u say are true ... a poll AFTER 2011 season on a Michigan board 80% wanted Gardner to start in 2012 and D Robinson as a slot WR / Kick returner to better prepare him for the NFL and put the best offensive players on the field

I wish AP was around since day one .. Michigan has 11 media national titles,11 media polls national titles = 22 if AP was around from the start ,those 12 undefeated season wouldve been National Titles and it would be 35 total or 33% of all the National Championships (instead of the 20% we own now) or maybe the AP would award all those teams from 1901-1913 avg about 63 pts a game and gave up about 5.8 per game for a 12 year stretch
