Well, he excelled in the first 3 years of his career until this whole scandal shit went down. He was clearly the best center in the Big 10 and top 3 in the nation before everything happened. You can even throw in the fact that we lost a couple of talented players on the line, so he had to focus more on the blocking rather than snapping. I think he will be a solid starter in the NFL

From everything I have heard about the kid I would have to agree with you Be Cool. I have never heard a bad thing about his approach to the game, his attitude or any off the field issues. I have always heard he is a hard worker and a good kid. With the right coaches I think Brew will have a long NFL career. Maybe not a Pro-Bowler, but a good career. JMO

Except Brewster is from Florida. I feel dumber having read your post.

I know Brewster is from Fla.....my point is that even a homer such as yourself had to realize the talent level on this football is not what it was prior to 2007. Crawl back in your cave.

Your are soo dumb, fo real.. Brewster is not from Ohio.

For real?? what are you, 12 years old? I know he's not from Ohio. That really wasn't my point and I should not have included it. My point was that Tressel's recruiting style was to cast a small net. When you don't go after a lot of kids you can't miss out on the ones you get. And no, I don't think he necessarily missed on Brewster. He had a nice 4 year career at OSU. He will get his chance with the Jags. My point, and it's irrelevant now, is that Tressel and his staff did not work as hard at recruiting as they should have as such the talent level on the roster is now what it was prior to 2007. They targeted fewer kids than the current staff is doing. UM and his staff are recruiting properly to be a national power and not a regional one. Quite frankly it's disturbing for someone my age that little kids such as you and ShaneGentry cannot see the point of my post and focus in on the most irrelevant part of it. I assumed an intelligent person would gather the gist of my comments. Now brush your teeth little boy and go to bed.

Has anyone found it surprising that Brewster fell so much in one year. I know he had a pretty bad year, but dang. He may not even get drafted
