  • The Urban Meyer effect in full swing. When the offense gets explosive as well you'll start seeing some of the ESPiN douchebags have a tougher time ripping us. It also helps when you have an unprecedented scandal on the big stage at another school like PSU. Takes away some of the venom from the haters.

    Hope you enjoy the show.

should be fun. i know i always like seeing the inside stuff, let alone for my favorite team. think mark may threw up when he heard ohio state was going to be all access?

  • They don't hate us, how much have you heard them talk about the Dunn arrest? They could have easily blew that up.

:) I think that's what most folks will find the most interesting and I was thinking that as well...after this season when we start looking decent offensively and again seeing Meyer out there running the show being a bad ass like usual, I think May is going to really struggle to rip us like he usually does. He'll have to reach even further beyond the normal bull$hit he makes up while he's up there in order to come up with stuff. I think it's tougher for them to run their act when it's a former co-worker of theirs coaching our squad.

    Edit: SP

I don't watch them on TV with the only exception being games, but I did see links posted on some other boards over the weekend when it initially happened. I try not to look on ESPiN links though. If they didn't talk about it on TV I'd find that surprising since peegate was all over it from what I hear -- only reason I can think of is maybe they're covering the PSU transfer crap still. That seems to be the hot topic on most of the news sites, specifically the Silas Redd transfer to USC and how USC broke the rules on that.

USC has been breaking rules for years, I remember watching pac 12 media days some reporter asked lame kiffin how the recruit so many players with their limit and he chose not to comment on that, kind of fishy...

:) It's Lane, so you figure just about everything he does is likely mired in some type of violation.

if you keep up with my posts, you'd know that i was being totally sarcastic. i think the only person at espn that actually "hates" ohio state is mark may. otherwise i truly believe espn loves everything about ohio state. ohio state gets talked about by espn so much due to being the biggest sports department and largest fan base in the country. everyone cries about it and i dont get why. total sarcasm from me guys, razor knows haha

I'm not sure if you're being literal or trying to be sarcastically funny so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not naive enough to make such a broad blanket statement about an incredibly large group of people.

Yes, you and I have had our back and forth in multiple threads on the topic -- While I think the evidence is overwhelmingly obvious based on the numerous facts I've posted in numerous threads when debating the topic, I do understand that not everyone is going to agree on hot topics.

+1 -- due to their favoring support for him at his numerous stops I think that will help give us more positive support from them moving forward than we've had in the past. It's tougher for them to publicly rip a team being led by a rock star name who just a year ago was working with many of their talking heads weekly.

They like Urban. If Tress was still the coach they would have tore us up

  • Urban talks to the media and they love that, heck I love it. Tress was more allusive and evading and I think that hurt him sometimes. He would say stuff like, We need to work hard and get better. Meyer is like. were not very good or I don't know who's going to catch the ball.

No, I'm making a direct statement to all those who love to rip on ESPN and denounce them and the company claiming a boycott of the network etc. Not being sarcastic at all. I don't think there will be a single person who claims they were going to boycott ESPN and loved to rant and rave about their hatred for the network will miss this series. They'll do a 180!

with tress, something like espn all access would never be taking place. tressel and urban's personalities couldnt be more different. results are very similar though, just two different styles.

Well I guess I was wrong for giving you the benefit of the doubt. I think you're just as stupid as you apparently think I am. We've established a mutual feeling toward each other.

Exactly -- there's no way you can validate such an absurd claim which is why it was stupid to even say what you said in the first place. We definitely have mutual feelings toward each other. So far only mine are proving to be based on solid facts.
