I was never a fan of his schtick, but this seems fair. Give everybody who needs their sofla fix a dedicated thread. No problems with him posting in other threads either as long as he doesn't bring the schtick and/or any other antics he may come up with to simply disrupt the board.

The Bucknuts Hot Spot supposed to be the OT thread. It's subtitle is "the place to be for topics too hot for any place else." Problem is no one goes there and if the mods create a new one, we'll still find OTs showing up back here unless...they ban anyone who posts an OT on Around The Shoe. Now there's an idea! But I do agree the TDBRB could be absorbed by Around The School.

And I gave you a +1 for your "punch myself in the dick" remark about banning boobies. That gave me a nice chuckle at the end of a long, hard day.

I going to post in here insted of starting another thread, cuz the same people that got him banned wiil be the first to point "just what we need, another sofla thread"; but here's my 2 cents.....

As I was following iowa's lead and self banning for a few days, I realized I'm no better than the posters that got him banned. I had a case of "I'm taking my ball, and going home". Well, enough of that. I've taken my thumb out of my mouth.

Miguel was right as he commented (somewhere) that this has become a 'Civil War' of sorts. I tend not to argue or 'get into to it' over most subjects because while a spirited debate can be a good thing, most times they turn into name calling, etc. Most everyone on here should know me and what I bring to the Board, and where I stand on sofla. I enjoy posting articles about our Bucks here because I think that most people on here would like some of the same things. Not just about a big commit for example; everyone's going to see something like that for themselves anyway. But the 'little' things too. I also put my share of OT on here. As someone else pointed out; the Hot Spot is here too. However, that Board tends to revolve around politics, and arguing, and posters love to name-call, so...Anyway, have I been reading those very articles lately? Yes. But I just haven't been posting them. Do you need me to? No. You're all capable of finding them for yourselves. But for me, I like to share 'em. sofla, whether intentionally trying to provoke posters or not, generally always commented. With the exception of a few negative Tressel comments (which is a different story), he proved that he was a true fan of the Bucks.
So NutBuster/Cavsfan, you liken sofla to TZ. TZ, someone who clearly takes every negative angle possible, just to stir the pot. I don't see them as the same. You also say he has multiple screen names, and that he was warned. Warned for what? Bad grammar. Too bad most of you who don't care for sofla can't take the high-road as Razor, and ignore him. But some of you just can't help yourselves, can you? Are you really that uptight? Or are your lives that pathetic, you have to go on here and 'beat your chest'? Christ, get over yourselves!
Plenty of people had no issues w/him....iowa, chad, boom, chuck, sacrlet, bucknutz, etc.
Either way, I'm going to do what I've always done. Only now I have no "Drinking Night" Thread to look forward to.

I see them as the same, they post to get reaction and attention. Their methodology is different but the intent is the same, it's just that you like sofa and hate TZ. TZ doesn't bother me but since you hate him it's ok to ban him but not sofa? You all miss the point here...it's not if you like him or not it's what's good/bad for the board. Clearly he's generated more love/hate than anyone I've ever seen and I've been around, but it's clear more dislike him than not. So if he is part of the board but 1/2 the topics are about him then what's the point?

I liked Buck68 and they banned him, ok...whatever, I get it, most couldn't stand him because his posts were more about him than anything else, however I found him funny like you do sofa. I don't find sofa funny, I didn't ask for him to be banned but it hasn't affected me one bit. However I did like what he posted, he took the anti-homer stance which is ok in my book.

He doesnt bring any information about TOSU to the table at all.... He is worthless and hes not even funny . Its like the old man with memory loss he tells you the same story every time and he thinks its hilarious

sofla, doesnt bother me at all. Has some good points if you are able to decipher what the hell he types. Most of the guys that were crying about him, are posters that mostly read rather than participate. The ones that participate and dont care for his style, just ignore him.
