But you say I am biased because I want the heat to win therefore when I say calls were missed on both sides and didn't really effect the outcome of the series. But I am sure your a but hurt Cavs fan that wants to see Lebron fail again ( can I make that assumption?) which in turn can make yourself believe the Thunder got screwed.

Lets talk facts though the Heat only shot 17 more free throws than the Thunder did. That is what happens when you have Durant and Westbrook chucking up jumpers and Lebron and Wade going to the bucket. Plus when you take in account the must foul situations the Thunder had to get possession back its a closer margin.

The problem with you Lebitch fans is all you do is botch about Cavs fans not liking him.

Get over it!! We are. We dislike him, so what?!?!

Also, it was obvious the calls were going in the Heat's favor, as they have all year. He NBA wants Lebitch to be their poster boy, but he's not marketable.

People don't like self richeous, egotistical, pompous asses. Thats who he is.

  • I don't think thats necessarily true. Speaking from a personal standpoint I responded to people constantly ripping LeBron, I didn't initiate anything or shove it down anyones throat until stupid comments were being made about him repeatedly. Naturally if you like a player and people are ripping him constantly, you're going to defend him. If you don't like his personality thats completely fine, and its w/e but its foolish to say he isn't good, or cant finish, or doesn't deserve the MVP, or didn't earn his title, or stupidity like that.

Colluding with three all stars in an already watered down league to win a title isn't really earning it.

It's the easy path. He's probably comfortable with that because he's entirely too self invoked to see what he did compared to what historically is a path for an alleged great player.

He took a short cut and won a championship in a watered down league.

    Congrats quitter.

Thanks for proving my point, Cleveland fan who still hasn't gotten over your ex leaving you for something better, lol.

I've proven nothing for you. You said don't rip his abilities, I didn't- he's the best player in the league.

He is, however, everything thats wrong with the modern NBA, which is why you dont see the NBA posterboy in commerical after commerical.

He's a self absorbed, oblivious, egotistical ass.

You think the title validates him, I don't. He took a short cut. I dont buy ESPINs BS like you apparently do.

Congrats to you on being a sheep.

I don't buy ESPN's BS, in fact. I was sticking up for him when ESPN was completely shredding him. ESPN didn't change my opinion on him one way or another. You can check a thread Sofla started when the Celtics were up 3-2, I said something to the effect of "The series isn't over, despite ESPN saying it is, just like it wasn't over when Miami was up 2-0". With 3 MVP's and a title at the age of 27 I doubt if he needs, or cares about the validation of me, you, or ESPN. You can call it a shortcut if you want, but during this shortcut before Miami won the title, most people didn't think they were going to win it. Bosh missed half the playoffs, and Wade wasn't his old self. If saying that stuff makes you feel better, more power to you, but its not like being a stud with 2 other good players hands you a championship. I guess Ohio State should stop recruiting 5 stars too, because if they get too many of them, that will tarnish their accomplishment. There is a limit on how many good players you can have while winning a title in order to validate it, right? lol

I'm not sure what your argument is at this point.
Espin pimps him out 10 times more than anyone named Tebow and he's still not rehabilitated.
He took a short cut teaming with his contemporaries when he should be beating their asses. He colluded with Wade and Bosh and got his title.
By doing do his sullied his own legacy. The funny part is he's too fucking stupid to realize it, no matter what espin says.
And yes, if you know anything about him, which it appears you do not, needs everyone to like him.
There's a reason he's called the whore of Akron.

  • Should someone really be playing for their legacy anyway? Personally I wouldn't be worried about my legacy while I was playing. I'd worry about winning, and having fun playing the game. I think a lot of people put way too much stock in how much players care about how they're viewed by espn, fans, etc. He's also probably called the whore of Akron by some ignorant inhabitant of a slum in Cleveland while he's living in South Beach making millions, and winning MVP's and Titles. I'm sure that really kills him on the inside, lol.

No... there's a book called the Whore of Akron. Good read by a reasonably respected writter with a nice resume.

When you define someone as "reasonably respected", is that your polite way of saying they work for ESPN?

First of all that comment was just being obnoxious back because comments were made acting like he won a title because of refs, which is ridiculous and stupid.

Secondly, Don't act like he rode a coat-tail, he was the MVP of the season, and Finals averaging 30 and 10. He didn't win in Cleveland because they didn't have a good enough team, he wasn't a choker, quitter, or any other accusation that people want to put on him because they're mad he left. Good luck naming a team that was successful this year that didn't have role players as good as Bosh and Wade. Bosh missed half the playoffs, and Wade was banged up, and not his real self throughout. Wanting to be part of a good TEAM actually shows a lack of selfishness in my opinion.

Finally, if I want to find a role model i'll go to church. I'm shocked that people who hate him in Cleveland would be leaking out stories about what a bad character he was though, lol. It seems funny that they had no problem with him when he was winning MVP's there, and desperately wanted him back.

Sasha Pavlovich,Drew Gooden,an old big z,booby, come on man he gave A valient effort a washed up big Ben, and Wally z, he tried and when he did leave those same guys were the worst in the NBA.... he gave Them 7 great years the way he left sucks but I'm proud to say Lebron is from my home town of Akron and he is the best player in the WORLD!!!

If Lebron had just had a press conference or even made a brief announcement that he was going to Miami I don't think there would be nearly as many upset cleveland fans. I mean cleveland had quite a few years where they had the opportunity to get another high profile player in and couldn't. But the fact the Lebron put on the big half hour TV show, had every cleveland fan rooting for him and cheering him only to see him end it with Miami was mind blowing. I can't and won't root for a player that stabbed his hometown in the heart on national TV. Just very immature and unprofessional.

Sorry only one of those players was on the roster that you mention in 2010. ( The year he left, the year they were the worst team in the league.) You can also say they were not trying too hard to win that year in order to get the best pick in the lottery. (especially when it was obvious they would not be competing for anything. And I don't know how you could say he gave a valiant effort after watching the Boston series. A valiant effort is MJ playing when he had a terrible case of the flue. A valiant effort is a guy who had such a bad case of back spasms and such he had to be carried off the bus to the locker room and came out and put up 45 in the playoffs (also MJ). LB may be the best player in the world right now, you can't argue it but he will never have that kind of heart and that is why he won't be in the same conversation not the amount of titles or MVPs or points scored or whatever he just doesn't have the heart.
