13 on board with a max of 20--who's your final 7?

  • I'm thinking Pocic, Gibson, Heuerman are in, so that's three.

    You keep a spot for J. Smith, Bell, maybe one more tackle (Latham or Johnson), so that's six.

    Who's left: Hurst vs. Munger? I think Bosa's been recruited as a DT. (He'll make a great 3-4 end in the NFL).

    So one of the following (if not Hurst or Munger): Alexander, Trubisky, the Greens, Quick, Treadwell.

    And that doesn't even count: Bower, Daniel, Worley, Foster (likely no longer on the radar), McNeil, Sherit, Allen.

    And I'd take Kimbrough over most (god I hope OSU offers when J. Smith goes to ND)

  • I will go with Pocic, Heuerman and Quick...
    For some reason I think OSU will slow play Gibson. Recruiting with a realistic shot.....Smith, Bell, Trubisky, Treadwell and Allen. I think they should still recruit Trubisky and whatever bundle of offensive players. I love a hard-hitting defense every Saturday and Urb is putting together Super Silver Bullet classes last year and so far this year. I really think they shouldn't take any WR's unless they're top 15 at the position. The current receivers are under-rated just like B. Miller is because of the system in place last year. Only real need is the O-line but I also think they will be much better then what people think. Always was a die hard OSU fan. Father played for them. I just wish he hadn't passed away last summer to see this. Recruiting was like pulling teeth in the past. Now (especially with the sanctions) damn we're running out of room and who wants to pick and choose. We want them all!!!! Go Bucks!!!!

    We have 15 seniors for 2012 and we're at 81 scholarship players, with a max of 82 so that is +1 giving us 16 schollies available for 2013. If Brian Bobek bails like insiders have mentioned, that gives us 17.

    Just wondering where the 3+ are coming from that are giving you guys 20 or more available? Did someone else already leave that maybe I'm not aware of?

    Everyone ia assuming we lose a few to the league, transfers, injury and other shit that we can't even think of. 20 is a nice round number.

    I'm also curious. They are assured of 16 with Bobek and Hankiins staying. A great season for the Bucks may keep Hankins here. Haven't heard anymore about Bobek leaving. Who, other than Hank could leave early? If the above holds true, they only have 3 left. I'm going with that until things change. With that, who makes up the most needed 3? I would prefer Treadwell or Quick, Pocic, Rodgers or Smith.

    Besides Big Hank I can see Roby altho most of our CB's lately have played 4 years. And if he gets 1000 yards and we win 9 or 10 games maybe Hyde who could be hearing Dunn's footsteps behind him the way Pittman heard Beanies.
