Only time I saw him play was the Div 1 champ. game vs St. Ig and he was not overly dominant. I was more impressed with Boren. He's one tough hombre ! I saw one nasty pancake block and refused to leave and sucked it up with an injured shoulder.

Charlton will not see an OSU offer. OSU is in on three big time DE's for 2013 named Hatcher, Bower and Allen, the last two could easily end up at OSU, with the Meyer hire, even more so. Bower is from Ohio in NJ and Allen is from Virginia, but he is related to Will Allen and they are from Ohio and big Buckeye fans.
Look how quickly Meyer turned Noah Spence to OSU and we lead, and is getting guys like Darius Hamilton and Schutt to visit.
Charlton looks like tarzan and plays like Jane. Throw out all you want and have the Detroit media play like this is a recruiting coup, Charlton is probably not getting an OSU offer.
Throw in elite SSDE/DT Billy Price will be a Buckeye, the DL numbers go down even more in 2013.

Good call. I'd say in most other years we would desperate to get TC, but in the past few years big, fast aggressive DE's have been coming out of the woodwork. My theory is that 6' 5" or 6' 6" over 220 lbs used to be power forwards in B'ball. Now at that height you play guard or swingman and had better be able to handle the ball in order to go big time. TC has probably heard his whole life how he'd be playing in the Shoe some day. Thing is, he still can if he proves on the field he belongs. If not he will play somewhere and I'll be rooting for him to do well...unless it is at scUM...if he goes that route then eff him.

Taco is a 2013 and he is very fast for that size. Why hasn't OSU offered?

Yeah, cut the kid some slack. He was very complimentary of Ohio State in the article. He has a Michigan offer whereas Ohio State has not offered to-date, and might never offer. What do you expect the kid to say.

It's sad to see grown men trash kids simply because the kid has the audacity to look out for his own best interest, and not of the fans' interests from any number of schools.

About Taco: Obviously he comes from an educated non urban background. With that being said, the term "love" can refer to money. So I am going to start the rumor that scUM is paying players. Which is why Taco has been getting all of that "love" from them.

I tend to agree 100%. One of my co-workers has a son who is a freshman this year at Pickerington. He said that Taco was good when he wants to be but doesn't go 100% all of the time. Against teams that have similar talent he often gets pushed aside or is very quiet during crunch time. That said he is just a junior and maybe isn't that mature yet.

Urban will do what is best for the team. Who knows if that will include Taco or not but I would say he is a slow play kind of kid right now. Especially with the talent that will be looking at The Ohio State University under coach Meyer's tutelage.

What do you expect from a girl who goes by "Taco?"
