Being from The Wood, I would definitely like to see McCray as a Buckeye and open a pipeline to the Running Rams!

Someone sounds a little butt hurt because Ohio State offered McCray. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see McCray flip. Although, it's looking good for you guys that you offered first, and wanted him all along.

Know what is funnier UMDoesBlow? Some dickweed scUm troll on an OSU message board making sweeping statements about thousands of OSU fans based upon the opinions of a few posters on this board. Many of whom prefaced their comments with words to the effect that any Ohio player that even considers scUM is a player they no longer want due to his demonstrated poor decision making. They may be right, but most Buckeye fans realize these are 16-17 year olds trying to make a difficult decision and like all teenagers they will make mistakes. Now waddle off to scUMland and pray that Robinson stays healthy.

sad blue but you have a point... i've been saying from the day one that i love that meyer is recruiting more aggressively nationally but i HATE that the best players at there respective positions in ohio are going to michigan...

I like McCray, but we had a solid OLB class last year. We need to focus on ILB. I would have loved to have him or Anzalone but it wouldn't hurt us not signing a OLB this class imo. Depth always helps but there are other positions of need imo

Any Michigan fan saying Bosa is not a stud is fooling themselves. The McCray posts were similar, though I don't believe McCray is in Bosa's league yet.

Regarding McCray becoming a buckeye. There is still a long way to go until NLOI day, another 8 months. If the OSU staff starts putting in work with him, wouldn't be surprised at all to see him flip. Word was, in the beginning, he wanted to be a buckeye and he probably would have been if we offered on day 1. And given that his dad was a buckeye, he is prime time flip potential IMO

Problem with your theory is that Meyer wasn't able to flip any of the Michigan commits he went after. We'll see if he can change that this year. Anything is certainly possible in recruiting.

Oh lord! Maybe McCray wasn't offered initially because we had other guys rated higher on our board. I have no problem with waiting to offer kids but it seems as if we weren't even recruiting him...Again, I don't think we need him due to last year's haul but he was definitely worth offering over gedeon imo.
