Tressel and his offensive stiffs proved that they DID NOT know how to evaluate, train, even use the talent he had. If it were not for his lying and cover-up, we would still be putting up with continued terrible performances.

It's a GREAT day to be a BUCKEYE!! ALWAYS!! Burrows is a HUGE get for us!!! Up next Jalin Marshall and the makings of another TOP 5 class !!!

  • Burrows tweeted this also...

CamB1306: "For everybody that think I've
already decided where I'm going, its not true.
You all will find out Thursday."

and I read an espin article where he was pretty excited about his bama trip. will try and find the link.

    blackswampbuck

  • he said this about bama:

Alabama – “Just how the fans are so into the
game. It felt great down there [for the LSU
game]. I felt like I’ d just love to play there.”

    and this about OSU:

Ohio State – “I grew up an Ohio State fan but
had to change that since recruiting. It’ s hard to
be a fan of a school during recruiting because
you’re kind of biased, but I still enjoy everything
they have to offer. They have a great coach and
    great teammates.”

Does anyone have any opinions about these statements? Do you guys still think he is leaning towards us and why?

Expect our first 2013 committ Thursday! This is how you lock up Ohio. Lost three DBs this week, no worries help is on the way.

If Cam is not a Buckeye I am finding a new hobby. Maybe the stock market? Something that is easier to predict!

  • Cam Burrough's decision on Thursday...if he picks OSU I'll be happy, if he commits elsewhere I won't be..... but his signing day will be Feb of 2013 and a lot can happen in a year. Regardless of what happens I hope our fans show some respect and restraint. Taylor Decker, Sevon Pittman, Tom Schutt, Noah Spence, etc.......... I'm still hoping all these young men sign up with OSU in a couple of weeks.

Bingo...alot can happen in 1yr. Regardless of his choice Thursday.

All the people "in the know" say he's a buckeye.
Can't even imagine what these boards and his life will be like if he chooses not to be.

    blackswampbuck

  • Its crazy that some of you guys think Burrows wont go to OSU. If you have been following his recruitment you would know Burrows is a lock.

If you check the main recruiting sites...24/7, Rivals, Scout, ESPN, none report that Cam has an offer from Bama...unless the sites are just not up to date on 2013 prospects with the 2012 NSD coming up.

  • I will post the espin story for you all to read...
sorry it's so long but the link was subscription only. but I don't care if I'm poaching espin news.

    Cam Burrows (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-
Madison) has more than a year before his 2013
class signs letters of intent, but the ESPN Watch
List defensive back is ready to make a decision
    this week.
Burrows, who can play either cornerback or
safety, will announce his college decision at
    4:30 p.m . ET Thursday at Trotwood-Madison.
“I want to get it out of the way before my senior
season,” said Burrows, who helped the Rams to
a Division II state title this past season. “I kind of
have an idea of where I want to go. I’ve been
thinking about it this week, and I want to be
able to focus on my senior season and not
worry about recruiting and maybe graduate
    early.”
Burrows lists a top seven and will choose from
Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Stanford,
Tennessee and Wisconsin on Thursday. He’ s
    unofficially visited Alabama, Michigan, Ohio
State and Tennessee out of those schools.
Here’s what Burrows likes about each of the
seven programs he is looking at:
Alabama – “Just how the fans are so into the
game. It felt great down there [for the LSU
game]. I felt like I’ d just love to play there.”
LSU – “It’ s just a great college, great fan base,
great DBs. It seems like it’ d be a good place.”
Michigan – “It was one of the loudest stadiums
I’ve ever been in. It was my first night game I
went to and the first ever night game at the Big
House [against Notre Dame]. It’s a great
    atmosphere to be in.”
Ohio State – “I grew up an Ohio State fan but
had to change that since recruiting. It’ s hard to
be a fan of a school during recruiting because
you’re kind of biased, but I still enjoy everything
they have to offer. They have a great coach and
    great teammates.”
Stanford – “First off it’ s in California – no snow,
great weather. They have a great football team
and great education. I know I’ d be able to
succeed there. I know I’ d be successful in life
have and have a family around me that’ll love
    me and support me there.”
Tennessee – “I went there for a camp this
summer. It was one of the hottest indoor
facilities I’ ve been in but one of the best. I was
burning up when we were doing the camp. It
was hotter in there than it was outside [laughs ].
It was great down there. There was some great
    competition.”
Wisconsin – “My teammate from last year goes
there [A.J . Jordan], so it’d be a great thing to
have a familiar face. A.J. also lives down the
street from me, so we’ve been neighbors for
    four or five years now.
“I love the coaching staff. Every coach has
written me a latter and my parents a letter. That
shows how much they really want me. I haven’t
been up there yet, but I was planning to go for
the Penn State game but plans got changed.”

  • Bama isn't even in his final 5 FYI. Not that it matters he's a buckeye. Move along.

  • I can't see him committing to a school he hasn't visited, even unofficially. That makes no sense. He wouldn't have seen the campus, sat down with the HC and his position coach, toured the facilities, watched a game in the stadium, met any of the players or other prospects. That narrows it down to Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennessee. What concerns me is the lack of emotion in his description of Ohio State versus Alabama and Michigan, a much more low-key analysis. Michigan has a track record with T-M kids--Shaw and Roundtree were on this year's team--and Hoke has contacts all over Dayton. He's a must-get for us but Hoke would like to send a message our fence around Ohio is weak. I don't think this is a sure thing by any stretch of the imagination. If we don't get him, to me it comes down to 2 words: Bam Bradley. Based on his comments about A.J. Jordan and the benefit of a familiar face at Wisconsin, getting Bam in S&G might have made the difference.
