Can TOSU land Steven Elmer OT Mich

  • Seeing as though Notre Dames offensive line coach is Now with Ohio State do We Have a Chance of landing this recruit?

    jackrizzle24

  • I wouldn't put anything past Urban but we flipped Decker mainly because 1) he always wanted to be a Buckeye and 2) he called us. We probably won't have that same appeal with Elmer as a Michigan kid. I think early commits can be the hardest to flip because it's a school they have always loved and grew up dreaming about playing for and they jump on the offer as soon as they get it.

No chance he loves ND his whole family does. Its more then just about football with him. Its about fath and god. So I wouldn't wast my time going after him if I was OSU.

  • Will there be any good OL player's in the state of Ohio next year. Being that they already lost out on a few top OL out of state.

Jake Raulerson = Texas.. Steven Elmer = Notre Dame ..Logan Tuley-Tillman = Lock to Michigan.

    What about Faith and God?
I would love to hear about what a Catholic College teaches him, because a kid doesnt learn a single thing about Faith in 12 years of a Catholic education. So what is he expecting to learn in 4 or 5 years of going to ND?
Catholic Churches dont begin to teach you the very first thing about a Bible. Who are you kidding. Priests teach their congregations NOT to read the Bible, that they will interprete the Bible for them.
So what kind of cirriculum do they have at ND that a football player may be interested in?
The whole religion is based upon their first saint being Saint Peter, but Peter never stepped foot in Rome.
He never came within 2,000 miles of Rome, but if the Priests would ever let them read the Bible,
they would figure that out. Peter and the other 10 Disciples fled East after Stephen was stoned, and he and Paul had their rift.
Paul is the Minister to the Gentiles, NOT Peter. Peter was the Minister to the Jews.

Now as far as lost anyone to anybody. Are you kidding me?
We are talking about the King of FLIP! Urban Meyer.
The man that came in here and took over just 2 short months ago and pulled off the most incredible turn around in Football Recruiting History. We only had 13 commitments at the time, and almost all of them were 3 stars, and that included Dunn a 5 star who was ready to flip to Uscum. So I will consider that a flip as well. From there on, this is who he got to commit

Dunn 5 star flip back from Michigan
Southward 4 star flip from Florida
    Washington 5 star
Pittman 4 star flip from MSU
Spence 5 star flip from PSU
Schutt 5 star flip from PSU
OConner 4 star flip from PSU
Decker 4 star flip from ND
Perkins 4 star flip from ND
Williams 4 star flip from PSU
Reeves 4 star flip from PSU
    Marcus 4 star
Dodson 4 star flip from Wisconsin

    13 recruits in TWO MONTHS
    4 - 5 Stars
    9 - 4 Stars
11 of the 13 are Flips from other schools because he came in late in the game
    5 from PSU
    2 from ND
    1 from MSU
    1 from Mich
    1 from Wisconsin
    1 from Florida
Dont ever say Urban cannot flip a player from somewhere else.
All he has to do is call them up. And once he says:
Hi This is Urban Meyer, Are you Interested?

Im just telling you what I know. His family are big ND fans and yes he is Catholic. He just loves that place. Beside his father was saying how he didnt want his son playing at a place like OSU.

There are alot of good OL both in Ohio and Out of Ohio next year and I am sure who ever Urban calls,
they will listen, including the 3 you mention. Raulerson has committed and he may not bother to call him, but the other 2 are in play.

Other OOS in play and we expect mutual interest:
    OT Pocic Ill.
    OT Bivin KY.
    OT Tillman Ill.

The top Ohio boys we plan to sign are
    OT Evan Lisle
    C Lovel Peterson
TE Jacob Matuska who may grow into a OT.
OT Billy Price will be ours, but will play DT

Other top OL in Ohio are:
    Alex Gall
    Kyle Meadows
    Tate Leavitt

    We currently have 14-15 OL on scholarship next year, and only one will be a Senior;
but plan to take 3-4 more in 2013.

I really don't think either Elmer or Logan Tuley-Tillman are in play. But again you never know now with Urbs. Your right about Billy Price is a OSU lock all the way. I think your class will be filled up pretty fast.

  • One kid that intrigues me is Xzavier McAllister from Canton McKinley. 6' 5" 325, started since he was a sophomore and practiced against Steve Miller and Sevon Pittman every day. Ed Warriner should ask Miller and Pittman if they think he is OSU material.

You obviously know nothing about Catholicism and are unqualified to lecture on what it does or does not teach.

Smith (offered), Gedeon (offered) and Butt (not yet offered but was at last Sunday's junior day). They have offered nine Ohioans so far and we've offered five of those nine, including Marshall, Burrows and Dymonte Thomas. More will follow. Ohio has a good group. In 2012, Ohio had 3 concensus 5-stars (Kalis, Washington and Dunn) and already it has three in the 2013 class (Marshall, Burrows and Thomas) and more may follow.

  • Raulerson said the Texas coaches said he'd play defensive end as well as 'situational tight end.' Hard to believe considering his offensive line film is so incredible.
