just got back from the Iggy/ Pick game and Blake Thomas is the real deal. Buckeyes got a diamond in the rough and better utilize him the correct way.
Also, Tim McVey, younger brother of current OSU linebacker, Scott McVey, is a beast! He is so athletic and quick!
Tim McVey? Isn't that the guy who blew up that building out in Oklahoma?
Anyway. Talk to me about this Blake Thomas dude. I know there are stories about him, but I don't know anything about him. Why do you say he's the real deal? What are his strengths/weaknesses and do you think he's a blocking TE or a pass catching TE? How does he rate against Stoney, Fragel, etc.?
Hope you are right. Hopefully Thomas turns out to be all that you say!!
East Coast Player Known for Knocking Fools Out One At A Time!
well from what I have heard he is a great blocking TE, but can also catch most passes his way.
From what i SAW last night & in his highlight videos, was him knocking some opponents on there ass. He was also making big plays catching the ball.
I just believe he will be a diamond in the rough type of player. OSU 3 star recruits always seem to be better players than the 4 & 5 star recruits. I just feel that he will be able to do whatever OSU ask of him. He will be a solid Buckeye for 4 years maybe even an All Big Ten TE.
Tim McVey was a guy I heard on here throughout the season, people were tlking about him and raving about him. All i can say iss he s a tank
Reminds me alot like Ben Hartsock.

Anyone other than Tressel and Bollman will know how to utilize the TE better than those two. Tressel and Bollman's philosophy on utilizing the TE: "Oh no...., our offensive line sucks again..., better keep the TE in to block again."

Kids like Tim McVey is the reason why Mt Union is so good. Not big enough or fast enough for Big10. Maybe MAC. But tough as nails and great kid
What grade is Tim McVey and what kind of offers does he have?
i think he is 2013 and no offers yet. Kid isnt going to get into B1G or anything because of size IMO. I think he could play but my prediction is like MAC or Mount Union type of player.
Tim McVey is only a Jr and he's an Urban Meyer type back, not big, but quick, fast, and tough...bigger than Chris Rainey.....Also bigger than Emmit Smith as a HS Jr. Wait till you get a load of him next year. He's a work out freak. He had a bunch of sacks as a blitzing Safety, returned 2 kick-offs for TD's in the same game, etc etc.....but he's best at all purpose RB, inside or out.
Who said he's not fast? Obviously some of you know nothing about him..... he was on the state qualifying 4x100 relay team as a Freshman....ie one of the fastest kids in the school at one of the biggest and top athletics school in the State at age 14...

St.Ignatius Sr. Blake Thomas on Jr. Tim McVey
"Tim runs as hard as any running back I've ever seen," Thomas told the (Cleveland) Plain Dealer. "He's a quick, fast kid. I think he's got a great future.
"The power that kid runs with, for his size, is just unbelievable. He'll gain weight in the off-season, and I know he'll get faster, and next year he'll be unbelievable."
The best 2013 QB is Mitch Trubisky, Mentor ......size, head, arm, accuracy, and speed..
