Our feature on Cincinnati LaSalle WR Derek Kief, who has offers from Alabama, Ohio State and others.
He will visit Alabama this weekend and OSU next weekend:

i hope tOSU did not wait too long to offer him and he took it as they were not interested or as a sign of disrespect...I had hoped for an offer to him for many moths prior to it actually happening...his film gave me enough reason to view him as worthy of an offer
excellent article. covered all the facts and gave some really useful information...for Grippa to say that Kief is a better WR then Posey is saying A LOT and makes me wonder what took so long to garner the offer in the first place as I already stated i felt it should have came a lot sooner. I would really like to see him pick the Buckeyes because I think he has all the tools to be the next great WR here in a long history of great WR's

If Kief feels disrespected in OSU not offering until 1 yr. prior to NSD and goes elsewhere as a result is lame and he never wanted to be a Buckeye...
I understand what you are saying but we are talking about 16-18 y/o kids. I also understand Bama is "late" in offering too but they have the OOS excuse. And - schools begin recruiting kids as early as their freshman year - it has been that way for decades. Illinois offered him first and a lot earlier and that says enough
