    If you guys were to land him that would be a huge pickup, and one that I think many in Buckeye Nation will regret for years to come. Hopefully he'll go to Auburn where the pay is the best.

    Did he commit? I just dont see a guy who helped us land his friend Curtis Grant, loves Eddie George/tOSU go to the rival school that pumps out shit for RB's. He had his offer forever knowing it could fill up and he held out. He's not going to run to you guys like those scorned kids youve been landing.

    All obviously my opinion but im gonna stick with that over the typical "ear candy" nonsense that big time recruits say on all of their visits. One thing i do know is he had "a pocket full of dead presidents" while visiting. Which is what youre gonna need to do if you want run with some of those schools in the south that want him. So, good start i guess. Just tell him not to tweet about it next time. Haha. I kid

    It appears he may do that very thing. I dont quite understand it either, from a fan standpoint, but I guess that's what you get when dealing with kids.

    He didnt commit and thats all there is to it. Whoopty do, he said nice things after his visit. What recruit doesnt? Ive gotten my hopes up too many times with our recruits to even pay attention to the hoopla after a visit anymore...let alone scum recruits. Dude is waiting til signing day which is bad for scum bc their fraud asses are going to be exposed this year for the nation to see

  • from what i read on twitter, we (tosu) have some pretty lame fans. tormenting a 17 year kid on twitter all because he's enjoying a college visit?? why do fans insist on following kids on twitter and loving them when they're interested only to hate them when they've moved on...there's something very "TCAP" about it imo. good luck to the kid wherever he goes. personally i think elliot is a better fit for us schematically. i also think green will end up at auburn or clemson

  • I feel in my gut it''s something fishy about Green. He has Been all over the board with his favorites and visits. I like the kid as an player but I really do think it''s something deeper as to why OSU did this and I think we as OSU fans will appreciate the decision 2 to 3 years down the road mark my words

  • I don't think there is anything fishy. RB is not a need right now but OL and WR are. We are down on scholarships. No room left at the inn. Otherwise we would take him. And, he waited too long.

    Kind of agree. I get the same feeling about him. Something about him just says "pro". He has visited tons of schools mutiple times yet whenever he's asked about his favorites he gives the most bland answer as if it should take living in the area for years before he can make a distinction between schools. Don't know. Not bashing the kid but I think if he really wanted to be part of a team or offense he would have comimtted by now.

    Yeah I do get a strange vibe from him. Not saying it's definitively something bad for sure, but something is "off".

    Nah, not slammed. +1 from me.

    The staff stopped recruiting a kid from AZ last year because he and/or his father rubbed Urban in a Newton sort of way. Might've been Davonte Neal unless my memory is off there, so clearly Urban doesn't want to recruit kids who he thinks may be an issue in that category. As you said, the fact that OSU is still checking into some kids who fit the hybrid back mold says quite a bit.
