Derrick Green?

  • Anyone know what's going on with him? I have seen so many different reports on this.

    On 11 W, he lists Ohio State as a "big" leader: http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2012/04/catching-up-with-derrick-green-narrowing-it-down
    Then, just a couple of weeks after this article, he names Clemson as a leader.
    Now just a few days ago on another OSU blog, he names no leader, but states everyone is even: http://ohiostaterecruiting.blogspot.com/#!/2012/04/clearing-things-up-derrick-green-update.html

    Does anyone know which report is accurate? Is he just telling different people different things??

    From what I have been hearing, he really hasn't had alot of contact with Coach Meyer. I think a few weeks ago he had mentioned that he hadn't even talked to Meyer yet. Not sure if he is cooling on OSU, OSU is cooling on him, they are cooling on each other, or it is all a bunch of BS and nobody can every really know what is going on in the mind of a teenage kid. (Trust me I know- I have two of 'em)

  • Well Elliot has said, he was told we are taking 1 RB so if had to guess, OSU cooling on him. Like I said that is a guess.

  • Saw that Bama and few others offered Green this week. Looks like his recruitment is kicking into high gear.

    Who is to say they will play RB, if they are shifty enough might be lining up in the slot.

    Jordan Hall is gonna play the slot but is still co-starter at HB.

  • I think we have two RB's in Elliott and Marshall, so it wouldn't surprise me if the staff cools on Green. Green seems like he's going to be the type that takes his recruitment down to the last hour, he's enjoying the attention.

    Marshall's position will be "ATH." He will line up everywhere. I still would rather have Green then Elliott. Green looks like his potential to be Great is much higher then Elliott.
