Roger lewis looking into Ohio U and Bowling Green due to academic issues. I think we have heard rumors already but now its confirmed:
Pickerington Central wide receiver Roger Lewis has reopened his recruitment and will now take an official visit Friday.
Lewis, who committed to Ohio State last summer, is rumored to have academic issues and is not qualified presently. He is planning to take the ACT test again in the coming weeks.
"Roger will be visiting Ohio University tomorrow," a source close to Lewis stated. "Bowling Green is also in the picture and that is a possibility as well. I don't believe Ohio State will let him sign with his academic status up in the air, and he doesn't want to go to Fork Union to improve his situation."
A three-star recruit, Lewis had a fine senior season, and he helped lead his team to the state final game, where they lost to Cleveland St. Ignatius.
Scout.com will update the Lewis situation as more details become available in the next few days.

I was on Scout and saw they had him as a soft verbal, which was not his status yesterday. Based on tweets I've seen in which he indicated he was looking at other options, which everyone seemed to think he was going to FUMA. I hope he comes but if not, I respect his decision.

I know a receiver who would probably accept an offer to take his spot as soon as he received it.. A receiver with equal ability if not more.

Wait, did Brady Hoke report this? Maybe he's actually visiting Ohio State, but Hoke got it confused. I bet if someone told Hoke this information, his brain would just explode. "Wait, a wide receiver who is committed to Ohio is thinking about switching his commitment to Ohio????"
