  • I am good friends with a Pickerington Coach and he tells me nobody can believe he got an offer from OSU. He has poor grades, has a very bad attitude, has almost been kicked off the football team and expelled from school, and has terrible work ethics toward school and football. Does anybody know this kid well enough to address this concern? We need WRs and am concerned about this kid.

  • In the past OSU did not offer kids a scholarship without being able to get passed admissions, has that changed? Now what star player dosent have a attitude or a feeling that they are the goat. I for 1 love players with that cocky edge.

  • No still have to get past admissions even now...one of the big examples of this in "somewhat" recent years is Javon Ringer...they wanted him but he just couldn't make it in

  • I agree with you cew32 I love that cocky' better-than-you-and-I-know-it edge too, but it is discouraging that his supposed work ethic doesn't support his attitude to be the best player on the field. At the high school level he can get away with it, but the next level he will just get passed by if he can't or won't adapt his work ethic. Hate to see that happen to a very intriguing WR prospect, a position we are currently lacking some playmakers.

  • this is BS, average student and great WR, kicked ass at camp and loves S&G. He will be a great part of next years WR class.

  • there's something going on with connections at Pickerington. I was told from a highly relieable source that is the only reason Elflein got an offer and would have never gotten an offer had he been an out of state prospect or most any other Ohio school.

  • I heard his coach talked about what a great kid and player he was to the announcers ohis game on ESPNU.

  • I hope this kid isn't a high risk character and student. Camp performance and loving OSU doesn't address this concern. Does anybody know this kid well enough to comment? Go Bucks!

    Get off the board troll. Can anyone address a legitimate question about why this guy thinks his question is legitimate? You gotta love the play on words.

    Yea, your good friends with someone, who knows someone, who said something, and you come here to sound like an insider. When you get a link or have some names/good sources or transcripts, or information about him being in trouble, then come on here firing away, until then you just look like a negative ass.

    In a year when there has been so much BS I think it is pretty sad that @@@@ heads get on here and post negative @@@@ about our kids based on nothing.

This website is for OSU fans who want to know about who might play and represent OSU. This board is not owned by any one of us. Attacking each other is juvenile, especially when it is so easy to reduce someone to the use of profanily and negativity.   • His grades were good enough up front to get an early offer that means he was a good student.His coach says he is an outstanding young man on TV.Lewis is not on that good of a team thats passes that often

    By the structure of your question, aren't you asking if you can believe or trust the "good friend" who is a Pickerington coach?

    Is that really what you are asking...confirmation from anonymous board posters that your "friend" has given you reliable information on which you can base your legitimate concerns?

  • This is still a Tressel recruit..is it not? I agree, the kid got the offer early. Has to have the grades and Tress usually had a good nose for problems. All I heard is that he was virtually un-coverable at camp....and we offered immediately.
