    it's funny how you call us out as if we're bad fans yet you can't even get your facts straight. diggs' mother was with him on the OSU visit and there are pictures of him and his mother sitting courtside with meyer at the OSU v michigan basketball game. next time get all of your facts straight before you start a long rant void of any factual information to back your claims...stop using opinion as fact...

  • The announcement is on the 10th on CSN (tv station that covers Maryland football). Until then it is all speculation and conjecture, no one knows which way he is truly leaning.

  • Weak Meyer is clearly a Florida fan. Thanks for our new head coach buddy. I understand you are bitter. Urban left a school traditionally associated with criminal activity and came to one of the best schools, athletically and academically, in the country. Your Urban Meyer rants seem to come from betrayal when, in fact, Meyer was an Ohio boy long before he went to Florida. Whats your deal man? Are you straight up crazy? Your little school has three national championships compared to our seven. I realize the SEC is the best conference right now. Trust me, the power will shift in college football as it has throughout history. Actually, its a good thing you guys can hold on to football right now. Everyone knows you can't play the academics card. Maybe you can pull up some stats that rank both of our schools in an academic setting. I would love to see those stats by the way. Anyways bitch, have a nice day.

    A college academics rating by school and conferences. If it wasnt for Vanderbilt the sec would barely have a school in the top 50 And this is even done by an Alabama person lol

    i find it funny that the 3 schools in the SEC that don't oversign are also the 3 schools that are at the top of the SEC in academics. i'd go out on a limb and say there is a definitive correllation between schools who expect to do well academically and have standards for their admissions and those who will take in anyone who can walk and as many of them as they can and sort through it later because the school has no other purpose than to play football (they clearly have no desire to become a better academic institution).

    i also found it funny that he made this list of the major conferences and (probably not mistakenly) left the big east off the list...

That's like Kentucky ripping our football program because the SEC is better than the B1G... All we need to know is that OSU is going to kick ass for years to come and the academics will improve.

    Actually that was last years I apologize. The big ten actually surpassed the acc this year and Florida moved down to 60

    You people have no idea whats going on. I don't understand why you think Ohio State is some superior football school that recruits should be drooling over. Your team is weak, overrated and soft year after year. When is the last time your team beat an SEC school? Ohio State gets embarrassed in bowl games routinely and its not going to stop any time soon. Just because you have Urban Meyer as your coach does not mean things will change. I actually think they will get worse. Urban Meyer is a coward. He dipped out at Florida because he realized he was not that great of a coach and things were starting to go down hill with spread offense in the SEC. Teams were catching on and overpowering his teams that were "built for speed". He was just a lucky guy that was surrounded by great assistants that made him look better than he really is. As soon as Dan Mullen left for Mississippi State the offense went downhill even with Tim Tebow still there. Once Charlie Strong left for Louisville the defense went downhill and so did the entire team. Urban Meyer is a shady and slimy individual and he will run your program into the ground. He may have some success in the weak Big Ten for a year or two but still get beat by the superior SEC schools in the bowl games. Nothing will change you will still be the same old OVER RATED Ohio State. Oh and has no one here heard the Stefon Diggs said he wouldnt go to a school unless his Mom approved? Well something that has obviously been overlooked by you people is that his Mother has visited UF twice and has not been to ANY other school. So stop thinking he is going to be a buckeye even with Urban Meyers cheap negative recruiting and telling him he will be the next "Percy Harvin". He has said that before most recently labeling Andre Debose as the next Percy. Stefon Diggs will be his own person and make a name for himself at Florida.

    So your SEC Captain of the NCAA could jump in there and make them ineligible for what? Selling their United States Citizenship property personal owned property to who ever they wanted to? For Tatoos? Please.
    How ridiculous the state of affairs College Football has gotten to nowadays for young kids that they cant barter their own property for tatoos and your SEC officials have made such a big stink about it only because they LOST fair and square a bowl game to the Buckeyes and they needed to find a way to get it taken off the books so that it wasnt there.

    But the game was played and we whooped their ass on the field and we will continue to whip some more ass now that Urban is up here and we will start recruiting like the SEC does!
    The SEC has been signing 4 players to every 3 we sign and how is that fair. And the SEC allows admissions to kids we would not allow in our school. Duron Carter is still on Bama after flunking out of how many schools?

    If the SEC has the BALLS to administer their new rules of non over signing, we will see how competitive they will be after three or four years.So what you want, but playing 80 guys against 120 guys DOES make all the difference in the world.
    We play amateur College Football up here while the SEC is running a professional Franchise down there.
    That is coming to an end if they follow the rule changes.
