Urban Meyer get Florida Boy LB Ryne Rankin?

Ryne Rankin of East River High School out of Orlando FL is becoming one hot recruit in the Class of 2013. The 6"1 220 pound savage linebacker plays 60 yards wide down hill and relentless every play. Averaging 17 tackles a game last year combined his total of 189. Will he be the next james laurinaitis? People down south already compare him to the white Ray Lewis.

I dont understand why he hasnt gotten any respect by any state rankings or by any other boards. He seems to be a hitter. I just wish the production of this highlight reel would have been better.
He could be a Diamond in the Rough.

Be better if he don't get the great publicity then maybe we steal him if he is rated highly the SEC boosters will kick in his family will be set for life

I thought this year we had some guys who could make big hits, we had at least 2 big hits every game, but this guy can make HUGE hits! I hope we get him.

He reminds me of 4-star OLB Shane Jones of Moeller. I think this guy is underrated based on those highlights but Idk the level of his competition and I think white guys beside's at QB and at OL get really overlooked in the recruiting game.

I seen he made 1st Team All State class 8A which is the highest class rank in fl... I agree... Rankin seems to be able to control a defense like a lil smaller version of james laurinaitis.

Runs a little funny, but little man can thump! If he can run in the 4.5s he would be a heck of a strong safety. Might be a little small for Big10? I bet more like 6' 200. But if he's his listed size I like him.

This sounds extremely non political but your right. Basketball is much worse though.

I love seeing a kid break down and make good hard form tackles. That is what our D was missing last year. Tired of watching our guys try to tackle with their hands instead of their shoulders and arms!

Rankin runs well in this highlight I just seen.
His sophomore year seems as if he played a lot more outside then inside

Did you just throw out a Ray Lewis? You just lost any credibility. You can like a kid, you can down vote people who don't agree with you, but Ray is 6'1" almost 260. Not to mention one of the toughest, smartest and nastiest SOBs ever to play. Rankin is a three star kid with offers from Temple and UConn. Get off his nuts for a second and step away from the keyboard.
PS. Say hello to him at the family reunion. lol
The more I watch him the more I like him. If he's 6,1" 215 I'll take him all day.
