I track Greene on Twitter--I don't have a twitter account but anyone who does, which includes most recruitniks these days, can be found on the Internet--and he's saying that based on what people have told him at the UA all-star game, OSU is the favorite. I assume that starts with other players Bell may have spoken to.
Greene also said Marcus Baugh's been seen wearing an OSU backpack.

The way you make room is to assist the transfer of the sloth linemen that The idiot Bollman recruited that will never see the field. These young men may be able to make a lower tier MAC team or D2. When converted TE's are required to fill a starting position, past recruiting may be the issue. Reid did a great job and will probably get an NFL opportunity out of it. The days of recruiting fat snails and criminals are past at OSU.

If all those players end up in Columbus it will be a very happy new year indeed. With the recruits that appear to be lining up for 2014 it looks like an entirely new situation my be evolving for the Buckeyes. Classes rated in the top three could become an annual event and higher transfer rates of the guys who don't measure up could become much more common as well. I would say that Meyer's impact on OSU has barely begun.

You have a point with the 4 year schollies, but most players want to be in the game. I figure they would want to transfer in order to get playing time, rather than sit behind a couple other players hoping for an injury. I assume that a student can drop the scholarship if they want to leave.

There has to be some protection for the University. But the bottom line would have to be whether or not the player is satisfied with where he's at in the program. How many players have left under Meyer's leadership? He's a great coach, but the expectations are high and demanding. Some players can't deal with that kind of pressure and some can't play at the level he expects from them. I think the amount of "dead weght" is minimal and manageable, and will become less of a problem in the next couple years as Meyer continues to bring in top 5 recruiting classes.

wooaaa...wait a minute - i am reading posts that are eluding to "top 3 & top 5" recruiting classes by Meyer - as if that would be something new for Ohio State...lets not forget that for the past 25 years AT LEAST that has been basically the norm with a few exceptions & without doubt the last 10 years has been. (again there were a few exceptions) but Ohio State has enjoyed top level talent for as long as i can remember (I am 43) & as long as my dad can too...he was best friends with Bo Rein - so if you know who that is - you know how far back I am going.
