Why is Hoke out Recruiting Meyer 16 to 5

  • I hate to tell you but you are dead wrong.

    Jacoby Boren is 2nd team center. Luke Roberts is turning heads. Michael Thomas is turning heads. Pittman will be in the 2 -deep. Our 2012 class was vastly underated and it finished 3rd.

    Defensively, we could be competing for a lot of the same players but on offense, the overlap's a lot less because our systems are so different. Morris is a good QB but he isn't mobile enough for Urban's spread-option. We never offered him. And Breneman, dumbass, committed to your school, not scUM so tell me how Hoke beat out Urban for him? Shallman thinks he'll be a 250# RB. I'm betting he'll be a FB and lucky to touch the ball 1-2x per game. Dukes, Butt, Charlton, McCray, Conley--all Ohioans, not one with a Buckeye offer. Of their 16, I'd take Thomas, who committed before Urban was hired, Bosch, Fox, Kugler and Tuley-Tillman, all of whom are OOS OLs. Hoke got a jump on those kids. Even if he signs 25, he only has 9 spots left. If we sign only 20, we still have 13 to go. Hoke's winning war because right now, it's based on volume--quantity, not quality. It's not how you start but how you finish. The gap will be closed. Now, if only your trap was.

  • When Alabama beats you 49-14 you'll understand you not all that. You guys will regress and lose at least 5 games. DL,TE,WR,DB are huge holes...when Countess is your best corner your in trouble.

    The 2012 OSU class was vastly underated. The DE's alone are gonna wreak havoc on the B10. Pittman is already slotted in th 2-deep. Luke Roberts is turning heads...Michael Thomas is being compared to Michael Jenkins....RS Frosh Connor Crowell turning heads after a serious injury.

    The improvement at QB is astounding...OL as well. Jim Bollman and our Video Coordinator are not running the ofense and coach OL and QB's no more.

    Almost counts in horse shoes and hand grendades. UofM was getting Garnett from California as well, blah blah blah. It is April and Mathis's first trip somewhere else, it will wear off, it you follow recruiting it happens all the time you dolt.
    Levenberry is now a FSU lean according to Rivals main guy after he spent a week there.
    Michigan HS football sucks, Cass Tech has not produced a good player since Gholston. Campbell 5 star bowl of jello. Cissoko, bust.
    Dior Mathis, disappearing act in Oregon. Gordon, mediocre.
    How about Orchard Lake St. Mary? Dionte Allen, could not start anywhere. Washington, did not play much at OSU, and Bolden cannot start over a walk on at Penn State.
    Grady, Ron Johnson and others, you can go on, high ranked Michigan HS players that are bust. Michigan HS football is a joke, keep adding them and add to that list.
    Fuller is all Va Tech just like his brothers.
    Once Alabama bombs you, then you lose at Notre Dame a few weeks later, losers like you will crawl back into your hole.
    Michigan is a fraud. Travel outside that area and the midwest, and no section of college football fans think Michigan is good or relevant any more. Everyone seen Va Tech out play you and Beamer give that game away, the media laughed at what a fraud was Michigan was after that game that Va Tech gave away.
    Michigan is not an elite program and will not be for a while, no one outside their own fan base even acknowledges them as elite any more and rightfully so, they are not.
    Michigan fans represent the Detroit to Flint cess pool area well, an area with the most crime, murder and broke cities that are the laughing stock of America. Michigan fans represent a state that people are fleeing from now that the automotive industry is leaving and no one wants to live there.
    Pure Michigan, the state sucks, people are leaving and Michigan football has .5 a national title in the last 60 plus years, while losing to App State and Toledo.
    Those that think lard ass Hoke is going to have the luck he did this year, playing a down OSU, 8 home games and not playing PSU and Wisconsin are in for a rude awakening. Outside of winning a hot dog eating contest, lard ass flounder Hoke is in for a lot of Lloyd Carr seasons with 3/4 losses, and a roster full of overrated and above average Michigan HS football players and mostly Ohio kids Meyer does not want.

    Huh? How'd you come up with that? We're only 7 players in a 20 player class and you're already throwing in the towel? We're only 2 months into the current recruiting season before the summer camps, FNL or a single one of these kids has played a down yet in their senior seasons and you're calling it quits? Take your steel-fisted thumb off the panic button and give it a rest already. If anything, I am personally very pleased with it.

    scUM is 2/3's into another 25-man class and still without a signature WR, DT, CB, which are all critical positions of need for them, as is LB and much as I like McCray, he's only one guy at a position that starts three. They could also use another RB. Hoke's loaded up on OTs but that's a deep position for them already. He's still thin at LB and the offensive and defensive skill positions.

    Aside from two more OTs, a couple LBs and another QB, even with only seven commits, Urban's already met 1/3 of our needs with two shutdown CBs and two offensive playmakers. We're so deep at DE, DT (Price), TE, RB and S (Thompson), anyone we sign at those positions will be a luxury.

    Just because scUM got a big jump this year--which is atypical--that doesn't mean our class sucks. I can't say that's true for anyone who thinks that way. Anyone giving up on this class this early in the game isn't a true Buckeye fan.

    The guys scUM,State Penn,Notre Shame are getting are sought by Big East and MAC schools for the most part so Ohio STATE don't want them we are actually happy these schools are filling up their classes with trouble makers and half assed talent. We want to win a National Championship not try and win the MAC or Big East or rebuild like those 3 schools
