any dunn info.

  • first off i'm not a troll, because i've been called one before due to my small amount of posts. i've read on another message board someone wrote that there was info on rivals saying that dunn is real high on um and just waiting to switch his commitment so he wouldn't have to deal with any backlash from the ohio state fans. not starting rumors, just wondering if anyone has any information because i would hate for him to go there after all the other crap we as fans have been dealing with.

  • Would love to answer you, but Bucknasty MD doesn't like it when people say what they hear...... Oh well, anyway that is what I have heard from someone who is at Glenoak with the football team. DOes it mean it will happen no, I was just stating what I heard.

    Now go ahead bucknasty and tell me "crap... that is false I am calling false!!!! " Cry me a river dude and get out of your moms basement. This is just what I heard. Would love for him to be a Buckeye, but it is goping to be tough right now to keep the guys on the fence

  • Like you've heard, word is he likes Michigan. I honestly haven't heard much in the last month or so. Hope he doesn't switch. If we can get a quality coaching staff in here I think it'll make things interesting, but right now, we have absolutely incompetent coaches on the offensive side of the ball and at the helm of our program, so I wouldn't really blame him for going somewhere else.

  • I heard through the grapevine that his cousin who committed to scUM has given up recruiting him and acknowledges he'll be a buckeye. I know this clashes with the infinite wisdom of the scUM trolls on this board, but I figured I'd add some truth to this board.

    Sorry bro, but even Allen Trieu hinted that Bri'onte has told the UM coaches he will commit after he takes a couple more visits. It's basically a done deal.

  • shits already hit rock bottom and hes still committed. Dustin Fox is very close to Briontee and the Glenoak football team. I talked to Dustin at a restaurant 2 weeks ago and he told me not to worry about Dunn at all. Briontee is already talking smack to Dymonte Thomas. Trust me, Brionte will end up a buckeye, so dont get your hopes up watching his highlight videos. GET SCARED!

    Allen Trieu is not Brionte Dunn, or even an insider for that matter. I really believe you're getting your hopes up for nothing, as evidenced by his own cousin's concession.

  • Hopefully we don't lose Dunn but I don't see why people are making a huge deal out of it. He is a solid rb but who knows how good he will eventually be? We already have Ball who is near him in the rankings so it won't be a huge loss. IMO, it is blown out of proportion bc he might switch to Um. If it was any other school, it wouldn't be as big of a deal.
    Also, hopefully this years recruiting struggles will not continue when we get a new coach. It is annoying when you can't get solid players from your own state.

    Jealousy? Why in the hell would an osu fan be jealous of um? It's been about 7 years since "you" (apparently you are a part of the Michigan football program) beat osu. I know osu is struggling right now, but I'd wait until my team actually beats osu to talk trash if I were you...

    let me guess what has Michigan done since 1950? more wins than Bama,Texas,NDame,USC,Oklahoma since 1950..and right there with OSU,Penn St
    why only 1 national title since 1949? i dont know ;we have had 17 years with 1 or Zero losses since 1950 ,no idea why we weren't given a chance to play for the title.if you add on the 27 UNDEFEATED teams that never even went to a bowl game ..we would probably have 20+ more national championships.....Michigan thought the class room was more important back then...

    What are you saying? 90%!?!?! Seriously!?!?!? You obviously have not a clue what you're talking about AND you get too caught up in message boards. And I love the part "were Buckeyes". I try to be as objective as possible, but there is no way that I would say that Fragel or Hankins "were Wolverines"...you can't be both, son!

    In regards to Dunn...I have a gut feeling how this plays out, but either way...he is 18 years old and its his decision....not yours and not mine. That said, the bottom line is if it wasn't for some of the players on the roster and one former player from last year, making selfish decisions (heck...and continuing to do so), Dunn to OSU would have been a "Dunn-Deal". But because of those mistakes and some of the bad rap you guys are getting for those "bad apples", things are much much different on the recruiting trail. Don't think for 1 second that Brady Hoke is the only coach reaching out to some of your commits...
