scUM fans, how about our class now?

  • A few scUM fans came on this board and were pumping their chest about their recruiting class compared to ours. This was about a month ago. This was when scUM had 15 recruits and we had 4. How do you like our class now?

I said it a month ago, I'll say it again. When this class is finished, our class will be better than yours.

Good luck trying to stop JT Barrett and Jalin Marshall, good luck with that.

  • Good luck trying to stop Shane Morris and DeVeon Smith running down your throats...

Both classes are going to be too close to say one is better than another right now. That will be determined on the field.

Shane Morris isn't running anything but his mouth. And, I don't see ANYbody on that Michigan roster or ANY Michigan recruit running over that D-Line OSU has amassed. Remember - they're going to have to get through that D-Line to get to the next level. Michigan's O-Line will be decent....but its not in the same class as OSU's D-Line. OSU will control the line of scrimmage. Michigan will not score more than 17 points in an entire game against OSU for at least the next 5 seasons.

Morris will be running for his life most of the time and when he isn't he will be handing off to a RB who will only see Silver Bullets behind the line of scrimmage ready to make him blow snot bubbles........btw...Smith will never run it down our throats...not Deveon or Emmit Smith for that matter.....delusional folks up Norht!

  • I think both classes will be good, TSUN will be ranked higher because of quantity but I expect OSU to be better in terms of quality. I agree with bseball20 Shane Morris is not going to be the second coming of Chad Henne, oh wait I hope he is. In all seriousness TSUN will be better, but it will be a long time before you should boast about Morris and Smith I think Mr. Morris' mouth may put a big bullseye on his back for some Silver Bullets.

I wasn't trying to say that DeVeon would actually be running down your throats. My point was that yes, you guys have a very impressive class. But so does Michigan. We have amassed the best O-line in this year's class, and probably a top 3 for last year. It will be a war in the trenches that is for sure.

I'm just looking forward to another 10-year war!

  • Contrary to early in the recruiting season, according to 247 TTUN has a higher average rating. This is hardly the time to be bragging about how much better our class is.

  • Michican't has a typical Big 10 class, full of nice big slow plodding midwest kids, corn fed and all that good stuff, they will match up well against Nortwestern, Illinois, Minnesota, and Purdue, but like we talked about before the game has changed, we are going national baby! This is just the begininng, we will get the top tier Ohio kids, the top tier midwest kids and be a national player not a regional one. The Big 10 has a choice, they can adapt and get in the game and upgrade there efforts or they can watch and bitch about how OSU is dominating the Big 10 for the next decade, there choice!

Yea we know..this referencing "running down throats" sounded a bit gay to start, but we've come to expect that from your ilk.

Let's get something straight skippy. There will be no 10 year war.

The only thing you can look forward to is another 10 years of getting beat down by a far superior team.
I love how you think you are in a position to equate your sorry squad with tOSU when all we've done is retool.

You nor your "vaunted" recruiting class is any where close to OSU and its a very sad to see you in this persistent and constant delusional state!

Shut the f*ck up. No UM running back is going to go through our D line-maybe you go back and look at the D-line Meyer got last year. On Nov 24th your boys will be exposed for the frauds they are

  • O-line recruiting is almost a stones throw. Just because they are ranked high doesn't mean they will be good. Look at the offensive line Ohio State had this year a lot of the guys were rated very high and they still weren't anything great. Now i must saying the O-line coaching was sub par but O-line are harder to judge.

  • I don't know why anyone started this thread. When Michigan got off to a hot start, we kept saying that it doesn't matter until signing day. Who cares at this point? There's a lot of recruiting left to do by both teams, and more importantly, a lot of raw talent that will have to be developed over the next 5 years. I don't care who is ranked higher next February. I do know that I trust Urban to both select and develop players more than I trust Brady Hoke.

Agreed. Saw the thread topic and thought WTH??? But, like a train wreck...had to check it out.

    RSmitty

  • That's not correct. There's not alot of recruiting left for OSU unless we have some guys leave.
We only have about 5 slots available currently and 4 could be off the board after the spring game.
Bosa, Pocic, Lazard, Quick, Anzalone, Gibson, Hurst and Heuerman are all supposedly heavy leans. The 5 remaining spots are now at a premium.
