agree....regrettablely we need them to force Jim Jackson's son into having a bad game....along with the rest of Wisky
We went on the 13-0 run with about 9 minutes left in the 2nd half when Matta finally put both Scott and Craft on the floor together. This is a no-brainer and had Matta not made that change, we would have lost that game. Seth Greenberg (ESPN) made the point in the post-game analysis of how much better a team we are with Scott on point and both these guys in the game together.
We seem to run at a better tempo wiht Scott handling the ball, and Craft is creating more. The key to this team in February and March will be the development of Williams, Thompson and Ross....they have to step up and be the "real deal"....a recent radio reporter talked to Ross and reported that "he admitted that he did not listen to coaches last year" and just recently started to...that is why Matta is bring him in and moving him up..now the rest will be up to him.
Thomas is just money..and a great athlete and scorer.....expect big things from this team in late February and march...
I have to say with Scott and Craft on the floor together this team is much better ... My starting five would Ravenal,Thomas, Thompson, Craft and Scott, I think Smith, Williams, Ross, and even McDonald give us both great scoring and defense Off the bench ....
JOHN 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
I agree with your proposed starting 5. We need Smith on the floor when either Craft or Scott is sitting. Rav has outplayed Williams and has earned the starting position. I too would like to see a little more McDonald. Ross should be behind Thompson, who just hasn't been consistent enough on offense, and should also spell Thomas. I just don't like anybody playing more than 35 minutes per game, and would keep even Thomas and Craft at 32 max. This will open up minutes for other guys.
