Greg Oden said that he's "not going to rush" coming back to the NBA, but he wants "to get back with a team."
Oden admitted that he'd love to play in 2012-13, but that's unlikely. "I need to take a year off," he said. Oden acknowledged that if he's feeling good and ready to return late in the season, he would "love to play," but he's obviously not getting ahead of himself. The former No. 1 overall pick also dispelled the notion that he wants to play for the Heat, saying he wants to "go to a place where I can get healthy."

Had he been healthy he would have dominated in the Olympics. imo . Healthy he's a top 3 center in the league.
I would have loved to see what this guy's potential was when he was 100% healthy at Ohio State and the NBA. He was never healthy even at Ohio State with his wrist all taped up throughout most of the 2007-2008 season. He was a great player even at 80% for Ohio State. Could you have imagined this Ohio State team with Oden at 100% and he stayed for all four years? Michael Conley, Evan Turner, Diebler, Lighty those teams would have kicked the $hit out of those teams in the NCAA Tournament.
Best of luck to Greg Oden.
Such a talented player. Every Buckeye and B1G fan hopes nothing but the best for him.
What have you done today to beat TTUN?
I would love to see him healthy and on the CAVS.
I wrote awhile back that he was in vail working with doctors and that my wife had talked with him. Well he is back in town doing the same. She gave him him an O H and he laughed and gave her an I O and a high five. Good guy got a raw deal with his health. I hope he can come back soon and stay healthy.
I saw him like 2 weeks ago at the AMC movie theater at Easton.. giant man and didn't look quite as old as I had thought he did
