Who's in for 13,14 and who are the top targets to fill Out our roster ?
I'm not Cavs, but I follow the basketball recruiting a bit.
In for next year (2013) will be two national top 100 prospects in Marc Loving, a 6'8 skilled F from Toledo St. John's, and Kameron Williams, a 6'2 scoring dynamo from Baltimore.
So far, the 2014 class consists of Jae'Sean Tate, a 6'5 wing from Pickerington (and son of former OSU/UC player, Jermaine Tate), Keita Bates-Diop, a 6'7 and growing G/F from Illinois, and Dave Bell, a previously under the radar 6'10 post player from Garfield Heights. Diop is considered a top 25 prospect nationally, Tate a top 50 player, and Bell possibly a top 100 player, though it is probable he will continue to rise as he becomes more well-known in the recruiting world.
Other top targets who OSU still has a shot with in 2014:
-Jahlil Okafor, 6'10 Center from Chicago who is considered the top prospect in the country.
-Tyus Jones, 6'1 from Minnesota and possibly the top PG prospect in the country. He and Okafor are close and have said they'd like to play together in college.
-Others are Justin Jackson (wing from TX), Jaquan Lyle (combo guard from IN), Cliff Alexander (post from Chicago).
OSU is still "in" on quite a few others, as well, but that would be quite a long list!

Ok thx I new we had those guys but can't remember how big they are and all that .
So Scott and Amir will be Srs do you see that as a problem for landing Okafor and Jones? Are those guys one and done type players? Seems like it would be hard to get them unless craft leaves early this yr and then Scott and Williams blows it up next yr and leave early also.
Personally, I think Okafor or Jones could come in and play right away. Taking nothing away from Williams or Scott, but these two recruits are the types that can and will play valuable minutes no matter where they decide to go to school.
Unless Amir and Shannon really improve their offensive games (low post game for Amir, consistent shot for Shannon), they definitely do not have any type of "lock-down" on the C and PG positions at Ohio State. If freshmen can come in and outplay the upperclassmen, they'll play. I think Matta will do his best to let them know it.
They are soph I fully expect both to be studs as Srs and both would start . We better start lookin hard at 2015 recruits also
Buckeyes need Okafor, Jones and three other guys to start the lineup.
