glad to have the kid on our side.
And it's not just the steals. He takes the guy he's guarding out of the play and screws up the other teams offensive flow, offensive plays, and wears them down. I'm sure going to hate to see him go when his time is done.
Me too. Good article, thanks for posting. My only criticism is that the author seems to sell Craft's natural athletic ability short based on race. This kid is a tremendous athlete who has made himself that much better by his hard work and dedication. This reminds me a little bit of growing up and competing in all the 3 sports against Chris Spielman. Despite media claims that he was all self made, the truth is that he was always the best athlete on the field or court. He was the kid hitting the home runs in little league and the first kid to dunk the basketball. He was always among the fastest kids on the field. His weight training for football and the weight and strength he added probably had a downside on some parts of his natural athleticism and slowed him down a little when he got older.
But back to topic...
Unbelievable to me is that many posters to this board were wanting to bench Craft earlier this season because he was in a bit of a shooting slump. He's playing his best basketball right now with Scott on the floor next to him. I got a feeling that this guard combo is going to carry us to another final four.
On Sunday from about 4-7 they don't.
