Cowherd....basketball story breaking.. It's about Bo Ryan

Just caught tail end of radio show, said developing story is coming out that could be damaging to major college basketball team. Any one else hear this. Just heard, it's about a rs freshman who was mr. Basketball in Iowa. Ryan is blocking his transfer, basically can't transfer too anyone in big 10, acc or Iowa state, and Marquette

Also Wisconsin beat writer saying its not a school policy for him not able to transfer to another Big 10 school, but a Big 10 rule itself. Is that something new. I know football players have done it in past, they just can't go on scholarship.

Saw it too... Poor kid. Colin basically inferred, and I think most would agree, that Ryan is keeping him from direct competition and recruiting competition.
Not that I didn't know and fully believe this before, but Bo Ryan is a little b*tch.

The same rule applies to hoops as well. No scholarship for intra-conference transfers.

he can transfer, but he's not going to get a scholarship. right now, only creighton has a scholarship open for him. thought the coach's best interest was for the kids... i wonder how much this will hurt ryan's recruitment...
just deal with it. :P

That is what I thought, but that stupid beat writer basically said that the Big 10 not Wisconsin is blocking the kid from transferring to any other Big 10 school.
