Yet our best players choked when it actually mattered. It's one thing to lose a hard fought game. It's another to disappear and play poorly when the game is on the line. It's a miracle we were still in the game at the end.

We played a fantastic first half, but never seemed to wake up in the second. It sucks that we had to go out like this, but I am still happy with my Buckeyes! Final Four is not bad whatsoever!

A heartbreaking loss and a tough second half, but I don't think we would have matched up well against Kentucky anyways. This team met expectations as I think they had final four talent.

Even assuming Sullinger and Thomas leave, we should be able to make a run at the Sweet 16 next year.

Sullinger went 4 out of 19 from the field and he got beat by the skinny, white kid Withey. A lot of these posters think he is the second coming of Dwight Howard and NBA ready. LOL! Stay in school Sullinger and develop your body! Sullinger is a Sean May and Hansborough clone who needs two more years playing college basketball. Thomas and Sullinger played terrible and the Buckeyes only lost by two points.
Matta is going to get a NCAA championship title. It might take two or more years to do ii , but he will get a title. Staff needs to develop the bench for next season and sit Ravenel on the pine for next year. Ravenel is good for Big Ten competition but going up against elite post players, he doesn't have it. Develop Amir Williams and play the Ross kid. Work with Sam Thompson on developing an offensive game coaches and also teach Scott how to score points. Teach these kids offense and work on defense. This team needs another year to develop and 2014 is Ohio State's year. If Sullinger and Thomas stay then 2013 will be good for them.
Overall, it was a great year for Ohio State. You exceeded my expectations going to a Final Four. Last year's team was far more talented but you went farther due to the matchups. Thomas and Sullinger need to stay in school and develop their games. Need to have Sullinger go up against Williams in practice more often.

On some real. Sullinger is about 85% out of the door and into the NBA. The only way he returns is if his Brother and Dad tells him to stay. I believe that Sullinger isn't ready for the Big Dogs in the NBA. And if he has watched the OSU talent who left too early in the past. Then he will see that he leaving isn't a good thing. Yes, he will get money. But this dude is not a complete player. He still allows double teams to effect his judgement with the rock. How many times did he just chuck up the ball or force a damn shot when he was suppose to kick out? That pissed me off. And then he is shooing these Jumpshots like he is Amare Stoudemire. Dude, work on your game and decision making needs to be better. Because I felt like OSU forced the ball to Sullinger and relied on him to bail them out of the rut they were in. So he just started chucking up shots.

Thad Matta did a god job this entire tournament up to this game. I felt like he didn't make the proper adjustments, especially when Kansas decided to Triple Team Sullinger. They did that when they noticed that OSU wasn't hitting shit from 3 point land. And not keeping Amir Williams in the game for rebounds andmore inside defense. Especially when he had barely any fouls at all. Man, just a furstrating night. And I'm not the type to just turn off the pissed off switch and congradulate them on a good season. I know they had a good season. But I mean, we just lost a heart breaker.

No doubt it was a very good year. Peked at the end of the eyar like you want. 3 future nba players. Thad can recruit em. Just use the bench more and get a shooter.

It was a good season. You can't call a season great when u choke against a team that isn't as good as u, especially with the amount of talent on this team.

I would not call what we did a "choke". Kansas is a good team.....we started of the second half and shot very poorly which allowed Kansas back in the game. The NCAA tourney is all about one game at a time....anything can happen. I am as disappointed as the next person but i would not call what they did a "choke" job....they fought hard against a very good Kansas team and lost.

Let's be honest......Kansas matched up so much better against Kentucky than us and they just got manhandled. What do you think would have happend to US against Kentucky? It would have been embarrassing.....

It was a VERY GOOD season by the Buckeyes and I am proud of them. Not too many people thought that we were going to make it to the final four....let alone beat Syracuse to get there.

NOW, let's see what unravels (or not) with people leaving or staying........
