Per Bob Baptist with the Columbus Disgrace.
This guy could be a great bench player. OSU's perimeter shooting was bad so this could be a decent get. I am glad Sibert transferred and good luck at Dayton. Weatherspoon had the talent but let's face facts he wasn't ready to play next year. Rodney Hood and Ross combination could be very deadly in 2013!
Vote for Pedro!
Nice job, Buckeyes and welcome to C-bus, Amedeo.
Ohio State lands Findlay Prep shooter Amedeo Della Valle

Amedeo Della Valle, an Italy native who played last year for famed Findlay Prep, committed to Ohio State on Saturday.
Della Valle, a 6-4 guard, visited the Ohio State campus on Tuesday and committed just a few days later.
“Next year, I will play at Ohio State,” Della Valle wrote on Twitter just after midnight on Saturday.
He could make an instant impact next season, perhaps sliding into departed senior William Buford's role as a 3-point shooter.
"He was able to look at what they had coming back and felt like that was a place he could go and compete at the highest level and yet not have the pressure to go in right away and have to be an impact player," Findlay Prep coach Michael Peck told 247sports.com. “Amedeo is kind of a multipurpose guard.
“He has an unbelievable feel for the game. He knows how to play. He understands spacing and simple concepts. He also plays hard and does a good job of moving the ball. He is a good passer. He doesn’t need to stand there and dribble it.
“He’s just an efficient player. He is a very good shooter from behind the arc. I think he will continue to improve as he gets stronger. He has a high basketball IQ. You don’t have to explain every single thing to him.”

This kid shot 53% from 3pt range, something that was sorely missing from OSU this year. Could be a big contributor.
