ANN ROMNEY: SUPER MOM

  • Willard Romney's wife must be Super Mom. After all, she raised 5 boys all by herself while her husband was out buying up companies, firing their workers and then selling the company off for profit. Meanwhile Little Ann was home with 5 monstrous boys. I wonder if she did her own grocery shopping? How about worrying about the gas bill in winter? How about doctor's bills? Do you think she had to worry about everyday things most mericans worry about? I don't think so. I've heard the Mitten dotes on her, will do anything for her, and forbids the kids to talk back to her. if that is so, why no maids, or nannies to help his wife? Doesn't really make sence.
Now before your moron Cons start blaming me for being anti-women you best get out there and read the Romney story. Not all roses and alot of holes in it. And lease don't call me a women hater, I believe a women should have a choice, should have equal pay and be treated as equals in everything they do. I am sure Cons out there believe in the same thing, too.

  • Has it been established that she never had a maid, or other help? Even if she didn't, this story has been milked to death by the repugs.

    godhatesusall

  • Sounds to me like your evnious because mitt was a very good business man and his wife was able to stay at home and raise her kids without a lot of worry. Who gives a shit if she had a maid, Who gives a shit if she worked. Its her life she can do what ever the hell she wants. Mitt made his money. Yes his father was also very rich but all the inheritance mitt recieved went to a BYU as a donation. To go on and on about a guy who seems to be a very good man, one who doesn't go out and play class war fair and say bad things about America. Give it a rest my god. If you don't like his policies dont vote for him, but don't bash a man that has been a good citizean all his life, just b/c he is wealthy does not make him or his wife a bad person and need to bash. Just disagree with where he stands.

Now Obummer we can talk about. He sat in a church for 20+ years listening to a black preacher, Jerimiah right talking all this anti america bullshit. Why does the main stream media not talk about this?? Why does he try to divide us between black and white, and rich and poor. If you don't think so have you not been watching his campaingn stops. Why is he having the secret service going to speack with ted nugent, but not the members of the Black panters?? Why is his biggest supporter Warren Buffet keep saying he doesnt pay enough taxes, but one of his companies owes over 1 billion dollars and he is fighting it??

Also, lets look at Buffet, Just bought a train company in 2010. He is from Nebraska, one of the biggest campaign donators to Obama, very rich and powerful. Where is the keystone pipleing being stopped, Nebraska. Who serves to make money from the oil from Canada if there is no pipline? Train companies. Who is funding the environmental group fighting the pipline in Nebraska, Warren Buffet. Who owns over 5 million dollars in berkshire hathway?? Ben Nelson, Nebraska Senator. Who is blocking this and fighting this the hardest in the senate, Ben Nelson. Seems to me a bunch of corruption. Republican or Democrat the keystone pipline will help us all with instant gas prices being lowered, many petruoleum experts have already said that as well as over 20,000 jobs being added at the low end. Which also brings in big time tax revenue. So why is Obama and Nelson not supporting this, b/c then tend to get money from Buffet whether more campaign donations or making money or not losing money on his stock price.

This is what is wrong with congress and the president. This is the perfect example. He needs time and more time to determine this damn pipline, but yet he can just give tax payer funds to solar companies to go bankrupt, where this does not cost the gov't a dime, but will increase revenue dramatically as well as help provide jobs and lower gas prices.

    Makes no sence!

  • It says a lot about a full grown man that diminishes the accomplishments of a mother of 5 boys, regardless of political affiliation. Funny that Seattle, a mother of three boys herself, won't come and defend a fellow mother from this stupidity.

  • I think she is a good Mother and person. We need a lot more like her. I feel the same about Michelle Obama.
If family's were as successful as the Obama's and the Romney's we would not have nearly the problems we have in this country. Unwed Mothers, Latch key kids, absentee father's.....those are the things that put our society at risk

Hey, if Liberals are allowed to manufacture the "war on women" then us "repugs" can manufacture a "war on moms". Both "wars" are completely made up and full of shit.

Actually he has succeeded quite well as a LEADER. Maybe some day you will get something right.

Though often asked, God does not take sides in politics or college football.

Growing up, I was mad at Mom for not letting me have my way about something. I referred to my Mother as "she" in my best efforts to convince Dad to "see the light" and "take my side". Dad was none to happy with me referring to my Mother as "she" and he made that VERY CLEAR right away.

Lesson was quickly learned... Don't try to play Mom and Dad against each other and never refer to my Mother as "she".

Dear D A, you missed the whole point of the post, but then that's not surprising. Ann Romney never has had to worry about any money problems, baby sitters, cleaning the house. Like a true Con you try to confuse.

You see that's the funny part...the "liberal war on women" didn't come to light until after one of the top Conservative mouth-pieces went ballistic on a liberal birth control lobbyist and then doubled-down when he was criticized for doing so. The whole "liberal war on women" was comprised of year-old rants from extreme left comedians until a democratic "strategist" made the mistake of making bone-headed comments about Romney's wife. Then, the Right had all it needed to connect the conspirators dots and pretty much make everybody forget that "Rush is Right" Limbaugh lost sponsors over his own private war on one particular woman and women who use birth control.

Aye...my father was Mr. Median income and we never wanted for something we NEEDED as my mother stayed-home with my sister and I and drove us everywhere we needed to go as we grew through the sports ranks.

And yet, I still believe that anybody who either takes a shot at a stay-at-home mom, or seems to think that EVERY mother out there has the "choice" to be a stay-at-home, is out of touch with the modern reality of middle and lower class America.

It seems the leadership class in this country is becoming more and more removed from the working class every year.

  • My Mom was a Super Mom....She not only raised me, but she took care of Her Mom (Double Stroke) for 5 years....7x24x365....My Grandma no sooner passed than Mom's Eldest Sister became bed-ridden with Emphysema (Chain Smoker for years)...and she took care of her for 4 years 7/24/365.

My Grandma on my Dad's side raised 16 kids...No Welfare...in addition to my Grandfather working..., she baked bread in a brick over in the back yard and sold the loaves...and also cleaned houses.

The American Dream is there for anyone who wants to get off their ass, put all excuses aside and provide for themselves.

I am proud my Family hasn't taken a red-cent of welfare...and yes, both families were raised pretty poor...certainly my today's standards. Perhaps poor in luxuries...but filthy rich in love.

Wow. To think I thought most people on here knew that both so-called "wars" were made up and not true. Along comes someone who believes that one is true (of course it is the "war on women) and one really is made up ("war on moms"). The gullibility of people never ceases to amaze me.

Actually, if you read the post I made RIGHT AFTER the one you quoted, I actually implied that the real "war" was over women's votes vice against women.

Furthermore, I never suggested that the entire Conservative media had a war on women, only that the rally against birth control backfired loudly with Limbaugh and the Conservative counter to the "war on women" chant from the left was to accuse the left of the very same thing. And then, a liberal "strategist" f'd-up by giving Conservatives real-time ammunition.

To sum up: The Conservatives tried to turn contraception into a real issue, which the Liberals spun as a war on women. Then the Conservative strategy was to create a liberal war on women.

Gee, you would think it was an election year or something....

This election started on Obama's inauguration day when Republicans made a pact to defeat him in 2012 before he had introduced one thing. Obama's only problem is that he was naive about trusting Republicans to negotiate on anything. Obama could not deliver on his promise to change the culture in Washington because not one lock-step Republican wanted it changed. They are still owned by Wall Street, Big Oil, and Big Business.

This narrative by Democrats will not change because it is the truth.

Check out where much of Obama's campaign donations came from and then come back and tell me who is "still owned by Wall Street and Big Business". You are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the left with no original thought nor genuine understanding of issues affecting our economy. Keep collecting your retirement check from your government pension thinking that somehow you got a raw deal and that private enterprise would have been so much better. I can tell you right now that your "talents" wouldn't even have qualified you for mid-management.
