Did they move labor overseas to squeeze every nickle out of the American consumer? or did they move labor overseas to sell the product at the price point demanded by the American consumer?
are unions part of the blame? of course they are, artificiall high wages and beni's forces a business decision. is govt to blame? of course it is, tax policies and regualtion policies force a business decsion. are teh amercian consumers to blame? of course they are we demand the 300 dollar 80 inch hi fi, diamond crystal TV, if it was sold at 1500 and made in America, no one will buy it because it exeeded our price point, so we forced a business decision. Teh TV market is the classic example of this, in teh 70's and 80's over 90% of all tvs sold were built here, than the tech boom hit and the American consumer wanted the new tech for the same price of the old tech, it forced a business decsion and now less than 10% of TV's are made in the US.
the uninformed that only blame big business and not spread the blame to unions, Govt and consumers are just that uninformed.

It was actually toungue in cheek sarcasm pointed at people who villianize Oil Co's and Insurance CO's (during the whole Health-care thing) that make profits.
I have no problem with Apple making a lot of profit as well as other companies who make a large profit.
