Liberal Fear

Above is EXACTLY what I expect and hope for from liberals... PLEASE attack his religion, wife, family, and even his success in business as that illustrates perfectly your vision (or lack thereof) for the country which I am confident will not resonate with the majority of our citizens. Also, the tough guy routine is particularly entertaining but not at all credible coming from anyone on the left (nice job as well on the intellectual nature of your commentary which also perfectly represents your constituency).

Buckeye Warrior, you are dead on with your analysis and the meltdown has commenced... Dave 1954 has already crashed Bucknuts once today by attempting to start a dozen new threads on the same topic inside of five minutes in the vein and naive belief that anyone actually considers his views informative. In all seriousness, I believe the election will be VERY close and candidly favors Obama if for nothing else he possesses Clintonesque acting and lying ability (and let's be honest, blaming others for your troubles without accepting personal responsibility and expecting to receive something for nothing is a compelling platform for their base). However, if what we are reading on here is representative of their national message, I like our chances more and more.

Thank god no one has attacked Obama's religion - by say, falsely calling him a Muslim AND criticizing the pastor at the Christian church he attended. Hard to pull off that hypocritical double-play of both acknowledging he attended a Christian church AND swearing he is a Muslim? Not so tough for mental giants like Sryan and Warrior.

Or attacking his wife - no one has ever criticized her physique or criticized her programs to help end child obesity. After all, Mrs. Obama's true goal was to stop moms from baking cookies and Sarah Palin sniffed that one out!

Or his family - thank god no one has accused his parents, grandparents and extended family of some huge conspiracy to hide where he was born.

And while Obama hasn't had a business record to scorn, it takes true GOP nerve to imply that the editor of the Harvard Law Journal was a substandard student, or to turn Community Organizer into a negative description.

Yes, the GOP is so above doing all of that - I am sure you are going to cruise to the Presidency without ever stooping to the swift-boating, race-baiting, fear-mongering tactics that have defined your few presidential campaigns. Or not.

    I don't get this, either.

Do conservatives think you should lose your house because you got sick?

How about once you have an illness you can never get coverage again, even when willing to pay your share just like everyone else with insurance does?

Is it right that you pay premiums for years but as soon as you get a serious illness your insurance company wants to drop you so they don't have to pay out?

Hate to break it to you, but conservatives and liberals get the same diseases and need the same care.

A huge part of Obamacare is just leveling the playing field in favor of consumers, Democrat and Republican alike, rather than the insurance companies.

And conservatives want to wipe out all the good things in Affordable Health Care by repealing it....

It almost makes me want to see some of them cry after going bankrupt by refusing to purchase insurance.... but I'd rather they see the benefits of the law by it bailing them out if one of them gets a serious and expensive illness and they are covered. There have to be millions of conservatives who have finally been able to purchase insurance even though they had a pre-existing condition, have been able to keep their college age children on their policy to age 26, can't be dropped, etc. I would be very interested to know what they think of "Obamacare" and their congressmen's efforts to repeal it.

The law isn't anywhere near what it should be, but that's because severe compromise was done by Obama in order to get just this much done. It could have been a complete bill had Republicans cooperated and contributed their ideas. How sad they hate a president so much that many do the opposite of what they actually believe. I'm 70, and this is by far the worst partisanship I have ever witnessed, starting with the Grover Norquist pledge and the lock-step campaign to unseat Obama even before his inauguration. Just stupid.

The ability of conservatives to create their own realities is astounding.

You're right. Romney is the one being attacked. Obama has not been criticized at all.

Given the way you conservatives love war and executions, and your hatred for the poor or anyone less fortunate, it is dumbfounding that you are such pussies, who scream like little bitches when one of your own begins to face the same scrutiny that Obama has.

See, Dems are the ones who actually ask questions, so yes, we will have a few for Romney. Like, for example, why does he donate millions to a church that was made up by a con man in the 1800's and which supports pedophilia, incest, child rape, polygamy and the oppression of women? How many jobs were lost in the process of lining his pockets? Which position does he actually take on any issue, since he has taken more than one on most of them?

Yes, Romney will be attacked. Deservedly so. Better get yourself a six month supply of Depends so every time you crap your pants when your guy is attacked it doesn't leave a stain.

First, how many post are you responsible for bashing Obama. Pot, meet Kettle. "Liberals" will leave the fear to the conservatives, you guys have far more experience in fear mongering than "liberals" do. You must not be able to use google and check out early polling of voters, but just so you know, Rommney has about as much chance of being president of the united states as I do.

you're crazy. I bet a lot of people would prefer Mickey Mouse over this amateur Barry Obama...I know I would !

Look at all the topics lately being posted by Liberals attacking Romney and the GOP. They know what is coming in November, a GOP win. So I say to all my Conservative friends on here who post regularly, relax and enjoy thier meltdown for the next several month's. Enjoy the multiple threads they start bashing Romney, bashing the GOP, bashing the Supreme Court (when they overturn Obamacare), bashing the tax code, etc....

Sit back and enjoy the ride. We are REALLY going to enjoy Thanksgiving this year (after a Romney win and GOP majority in the Senate).

If he would stop flip flopping on everything to appear outside of his little bubble I might be worried.. But he can't and he won't fool anyone outside of it! So sit back, relax and watch the crash! lol

It is pigs like Romney who have created this economic meltdown. Tired of name calling? OK. If you need particulars try on the Gramm Briley act of 2001 - sponsored by uber conservative pig Phil Gramm which it made it legal to give variable loans to people making 20K a year to be resold and resold by wall street banking scum over and until all collapsed. Also moron conservatives try on the futures commodities act of 2000 sponsored by more wall street investment filth like yourselves. It is has provided the oil baron oinkers with all the incentive in the world to artifically raise gas prices which has been the other prime factor in destroying the american economy. I only hope Obama does what you dirtbag conservatives fear he is going to do in his second term. People like you Phil Gramm, John Boehner, GW, etc are the ones to blame for what has happened. Conservative democrats have gladly assisted.

Do you come up with these complex answers to our problems while manning the fryer or over the grill when you are flipping patties? For the love of Pete man, educate yourself with something other than what you are reading from some leftwing website. There are modicums of legitimacy in some of the points you say but you are so far over the top that you have just relegated yourself to yet another side show liberal... Concepts such as "affordable housing" which were propagated by the left make them every bit as culpable for the loans issued to low income people. After all, you couldn't "discriminate" against someone just because they couldn't actually afford to buy what they wanted (sarcasm)... Staggering hypocrisy.

Some free advice... Less resentment and blame towards others, more responsibility, and a little determination and hard work will take you much farther than what you are promoting. Then again, you can just stay pissed and falsely believe that Obama will redistribute prosperity to masses (or you can just be truthful and admit that what you are advocating is "misery loves company"). You are absolutely correct though that if anyone thought Obama went too far to the left in his first term (he did... see mid-term elections), then "you ain't seen nothin yet" should he be given a second term. Then people will gain a real perspective of an "economic meltdown" (Hello Greece).
