ROMNEY A HIT IN ENGLAND, OR I MEAN GETS HIT IN ENDLAND

  • PABuck24 said...

Obama doing some drugs is worse. Because, the premise of that story about Romney is probably false - coming from the media. And, we know Romney is a genuinely good guy. That was just high school stuff , you know..."boys will be boys". I highly doubt Mitt Romney held the kid down because he was guy; if he did hold him down - it was just probably a playful, good-natured prank on a hippy classmate. Obama, on the other hand, is still a mystery. Many people aren't sure where he was born, his religion, who he surrounds himself with, etc.. Well, actually, on that last part - I'll tell you what is worse, far worse than both of those things you asked...that is: STARTING YOUR POLITICAL CAREER IN THE HOME OF AN UNREPENTANT TERRORIST,(Bill Ayers), and having your MENTOR be a devout Marxist! (Frank Marshall Davis) !

You can not deny that Obama's CHOICE of mentors is downright scary. From William Ayers to Frank Marshall Davis to his Rev. Jeremiah Wright, to the Chicago thug felon who financed his house, Tony Rezko. This guy is surrounded by shady, dubious, America-hating characters.

and he owes a lot of favors.......the chicago way....

It sounds as though you are more concerned about the Brits' feelings than Mitt's slight about their Olympic efforts. That should make you happy given your unabashed support for Barack Obama. In other words, don't care so much, I doubt they will after the closing ceremony. Just an observation.

Don't really care about the Brits at all.

My concern is Romney's total lack of diplomacy. That he could go on a cream puff trip to our closest ally and in just 48 hours be rebuked by the PM and Mayor of London and become an embarrassment to America as newspaper headlines make fun of him, I find disconcerting.

This is the man that is going to stand up to China?

I think he is a man of privilege who has never had to develop a common sense diplomacy filter in his brain. With money and power some people just don't care about how their remarks affect others.

    Sorry, but they actually do...

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Friday, July 27, 2012

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 49% of the vote, while President Obama earns support from 44%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided.

The numbers are similar to the 49% to 43% advantage Romney enjoys on the question of who is trusted more to handle the economy.

Seventy percent (70%) of voters see Obama as politically liberal, while 67% see Romney as a conservative. However, the president is seen as more extreme ideologically. Forty-three percent (43%) see him as Very Liberal, while just 24% believe Romney is Very Conservative. Most voters are either politically Moderate or Somewhat Conservative. Sixty-two percent (62%) place Romney in that group while just 25% say the same for Obama.

Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

Romney’s five-point advantage is the largest enjoyed by either candidate in just over a month. As with any such change in the race, it remains to be seen whether it marks a lasting shift or is merely statistical noise.

The president’s support has been at either 43% or 44% for six straight days. See tracking history.

In his weekly newspaper column, Scott Rasmussen notes that the declining economy is hurting the president’s reelection prospects. He points out that when President Bush was reelected in 2004 his summer job approval rating was similar to Obama’s. However, in 2004, the underlying trends were moving in his direction. “The big issue that year was the war on terror. In the summer of 2004, just 44 percent thought the United States and its allies were winning that war. In the five weeks running up to the election, however, confidence that our side was winning ranged from 49 percent to 52 percent.”

Rasmussen concludes that for Obama to win, “he will need to improve his own job approval rating between now and Election Day. For that to happen, perceptions of the economy will have to reverse their current downward trend.”

If you don't care for Rasmussen (who is very historically accurate), how about Gallup, http://www.gallup.com/poll/150743/Obama-Romney.aspx ?

And before you cite the NBC poll you might want to read this... http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/07/25/nbcs-chuck-todd-our-poll-was-skewed

How about the Fox poll: Obama 45 Romney 41
    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/interactive/2012/07/18/fox-news-poll-37-voters-say-are-better-off-than-four-years-ago/

Before anyone accepts the Rasmussen poll you should know that it is the most right leaning poll of all major polls.
    http://www.tnr.com/blog/jonathan-chait/75161/the-rasmussen-problem

I think that the best poll to follow is the RCP average. On here you can see the major polls averaged together. You will also note that while not 100% of the time but in the vast majority of time Rasmussen gives Romney his best numbers. For example in the last average for polls taken 7/9 to 7/26, of the seven polls, 4 had Obama in the lead (+6,+4,+2,+2) 1 had them tied at 46, and 2 gave Romney the lead (+5,+1) with the Rasmussen poll giving him the 5. The average gives Obama a 46.4 to 45.3 lead.

it's always the liberals who worry about what the Euro-weenies think. One thing is true about England --- they are vastly unprepared for terrorism....they appease Muslims too much, etc.

I could care less about the Brits, I'm worried about a candidate who has absolutely no sense of diplomacy and very little common sense.. I assume even you don't go into your friends house and tell him how ugly his new girlfriend is.

Tim - you are a typical hate-filled liberal. How does it feel to wake up and be bitter every day of your life?

PABuck - Libs are not typically hate filled and I never wake up bitter.

If you count the hateful remarks on here you will see that many more come from cons then come from libs.

I do answer in kind though, so if you call be names or insult me I do respond strongly in the same vein.

Notice that because you addressed me by my name I did the same to you. I could interpret being called hate-filled and bitter as insults but since neither is true I will just let it go that you are mistaken. No insults or name-calling from you, so none from me.

rely on the Daily Show with that liberal fool Johnny Stewart for your news f u c k i n g

    i d i o t

Actually what he was referring to is that Stewart plays actual footage of what the candidates say to show how hypocritical they are. Surprisingly, unlike Fox and the Romney campaign he does not edit them to deceive his viewers He has been critical of dems and Obama many times. Not his fault that Romney and the GOP have been screwing up so much.

A fucking idiot would be one who cannot understand the difference between facts and opinion.

Have you ever seen Stewart talk politics on other shows? He is middle to right leaning - not a liberal.

Got hypercritical? Most of you cons have been all over Obama and his relationships with allies around the world. Mitt on what should have been a cream puff "foreign" experience as part of his creds (this is a campaign trip), showed he does not have a diplomatic bone in his body and not much in the way of common sense.

You don't go into another country and try to show off your knowledge of how to run an Olympics by insulting the job they have done just like you don't look in the stroller your neighbor is pushing and say "My god that is one ugly baby," even if it is true. It is called diplomacy.

Your blatant love of everything Democrat, obscene welfare costs, trashing the Constitution, funding of unions to get financial campaign support, increasing the national debt at an alarming rate, out of control unemployment, unilaterally making law, etc., etc., etc, is not a nice definition. You might grow up some day and finally realize the error of your ways, but I doubt it.

If Obama would have the things Little Mitty Romney said the Cons would have called him every name imaginable for screwing up relations with our best ally. Remember when they posted time after time because Michelle Obama did some protocol wrong. You'd thought we shot the Queen. But Little Mitty Romney can do anyhting. Its great to see the Cons have chosen a COWARD to support in the election. A COWARD is someone who supports a war but does everything possible to get from serving. That's Little Mitty Romney! Of course it was also Little Georgie Bush and Little Dickie Cheney, too. They all deserve each other. Little Mitty Romney, the haircutter in High School, cowardice shown again, is perfect for you delusional fascists who see the worst in anyone you don't agree with. keep the lies flowing, it'll catch up with you soon enough.

Yea, we forgot that Bill Clinton slew the Viet Cong with one swoosh of his dickie and Barack HUSSEIN Obama flew to Pawk -e- staun in his caped crusader outfit, fought off thousands of mad muslims, cornered bin Laden, shot him, dragged him out of the building, wrapped him in a sheet and once again using his caped crusader outfit flew him out into the gulf and disposed of his body before coming back to the U.S. and giving the UAW billions of our dollars so they could donate to his reelection campaign. Now that is more like how it actually happened.

You cons are so stupid you can't see everything you say about a sitting president is hate-filled. I am to the point that I feel it is useless to even try to discuss anything on here anymore. If all you can do is repeat lies and statements taken out of context, I will have to leave this site. It is very frustrating reading all the crappy lies and made-up stuff you keep spewing. You all know good and well what Obama was saying - that "you didn't do that," as in all of that infrastructure, schools, teachers, etc. Whatever lie suits their purposes is what cons will do. Just go back and read entirely every one of Obama's statements that have been taken out of context and made into shortened versions in Republican ads. You know it, but you don't want to admit it - your hatred for this man won't allow it.
