Student loan program.......

    What do the rates have to do with the initial loan? It wouldn't matter if the rates were zero or 25% the money loaned would still need to be there. How does changing the rates or keeping them the same require funding. If we do not have the money to loan, that should be the issue, not the interest rates. The loans will happen regardless of the rates.
    BTW, funding loans is not a loss - it will be repaid (with interest), so why do we need to rob another program? Are we going to pay that program back as loan payments come in? I doubt it.

    Menstrual, as a representative of the your kind of repubes you cannot get a single thing right. I say your kind because most of the repubs and/or cons on here are much smarter than you but tolerate your ignorance because while you may be a jester, you are at least their jester.

    The bill in the Senate will pay for the continuation of keeping the student loan interest at 3.4% by raising revenues. The House bill will pay for it by cutting a program for disease prevention and public health; mostly impacting the middle and lower classes, especially women in these SES categories.

    So both parties have proposed paying for it; and yes you are pretty simple.

    Though often asked, God does not take sides in politics or college football.

    the little double dipper, speaks again.......the senate will raise revenues????u mean tax somebody.....i know after all those years of putting people on acouch and charging unbelievable fees, and them not getting much in return, your the perfect source for stealing peoples money, and feeling good about yourself after, hell u probably pushed the pills a little bit and made some money on the side too.....

  • In case you all missed it, % of govt funding through borrowing just passed % of govt funding through tax revenues this past month. We don't tax we print and we're all going to be paying through the f'n teeth when inflation kicks in.

    Edit: I mean REALLY kicks in as it's quite obvious things are on the rise all over many sectors already.

    Your ignorance apparently knows no bounds. I was a school psychologist and a director of special education. I was also licensed by the State to do private practice. Except on TV, very few psychologists or even psychiatrists actually have people lay on couches. I was actually quite proficient at what I did as proven by a number of things. Psychologists can't write prescriptions. In addition I have never doubled dipped.

    If you were not so stupid you would be embarrassed by how many facts you get wrong on almost every post you make.

    I refute your dumbass post and because you have little understanding about any of these issues you can not refute my points so you attack me personally. BTW if you are going to attack someone on a personal level, you need to actually know something about that person.

    Seriously, are you an adult?
