You mean the 1% that pay 30-40% of the federal taxes? You need to have your head examined if you don't think that is more than fair.

  • Unemployment has gone up under Barry....and they're not even reporting the real #s....(i.e. underemployed, or those who've stopped looking for work)....Obama has us on track to be the next Greece. Great.
How about fuel prices and expendable income killing the middle class.
This is what you get when you have an amateur with no business experience, who's a communitiy organizer (agitator) in the White House.
    He is clueless.
You'd have to be high to re-elect Obama.
He's going to get pummeled at the polls in November. People are waking up and don't buy the media's garbage any longer.

  • If this is success I'd like to see failure.... where's the 250,000 new jobs that Walker promised????

Wisconsin is the only state that had "statistically significant" job losses over the most recent 12-month period, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

From March 2011 to March 2012, Wisconsin lost 23,900 jobs. That was the largest decrease in percentage terms in the country.

Those job losses came from both the public and private sector, but the public sector job losses (17,800) were larger than the private-sector job losses (6,100).

At the same time, Wisconsin was one of 18 states that had a statistically significant drop in the unemployment rate during the same period, from 7.6% to 6.8%.

Wisconsin has experienced both job declines and a drop in unemployment at various times over the past year. The two indicators come from different surveys, and the decline in the unemployment rate has also reflected a decline in the number of people looking for work.

The BLS report can be found here.

No, you need your head examined . The top 10% make 90% of the wealth and only pay 30 -40 % of the taxes, Great gig if you can get it buy buying off the government the supreme ass holes and the media, And yes most of the media is bought and paid for by big money.

Drop in unemployment just means they stopped benefits or they were forced to move.

Because then he would be Obama.

Actually pretty well all things considered. Certainly better than anything Romney has to offer. Check his financial advisors. Looks like we would be getting W3 with the same results.

Might be time to start posting links/references because if the thread starter is correct and Wisc. lost 24,000 jobs in the last year, then "250,000 gain in jobs.Lost one month.Get real." is wrong - and vice versa.

Unemployment only when up under Obama if you start the day he was sworn in - which is just stupid. He was in office 10 days in Jan. 09 and there were like 780,000 jobs lost. He was in office 38 days for the Feb count in which about 750,000 jobs were lost. 69 days in for March and 720,000 jobs lost.

Only idiots would think that Obama was in any way responsible for the loss of approximately 2.5 million jobs in his first 69 days in office. If you look at the facts it is clears that Obama helped slow down the job loss number each month until we finally started having positive numbers.

If you think he did not turn things around quickly enough, pick up a history book. This was the worse economy since the Great Depression. How many years did it take for economy to rebound from that one?

Chris Christie > Obama & Christie is more qualified

  • First of all, I love you man! For saying truth on here! This is exactly what the wingnuts do, and Walker is certainly one of them, they tell you they are going to help with jobs, but they are only there to ensure that the future is controlled by the wealthy and corporations. Thats what they are about. This is why they have to talk so much shite about the President. They need to divert people away from what they are really doing and what their real mission is...to DESTROY the middle class because massive numbers of peopple in the middle of the spectrum are the only way to hold the big corporations at bay because large numbers of middle class voters outweigh the power of big money! So they have to destroy the middle class. They are also now talking shite about not needing an education and defunding college loans. Research shows the more education one has, they less likely they are to be a republican. Some of the idiots like Minsterbucke are caught up in it because their own anger, hate, and frustration keep them from seeing what is really going on.

They are fundamentally wired differently than people in the middle and progressives. They have a high fear complex and are less tolerant and accepting of change. You boil it down, why else would anyone not in the upper class EVER vote republican? Fear of anything different than they are!
