MENSTRUAL - lots of schools have school sponsored trips during Spring break. She happens to be a school sponsored trip which is why there are 10 or 11 girls. Her being on a reported Spring break trip does not negate that it could be a school trip.

No, it's a non-issue because Bush's "vacations" were mostly trips to Camp David and home to Crawford - repeat locations that are either already secure and/or not nearly as expensive to support. Plus it's kind of tough to call working at home from Crawford for a month a vacation, but it is to libs. Unlike trips to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard or dates to NYC or whatever, not separate vacations to Spain, and not on two flights an hour or so apart because they can't stand being cooped up with each other for a few hours. There is no comparison.

I could give a big rats behind less what Obamas daughter does but it does irritate me to no end that he is getting ALL of his familys vacation in on my dime, but I guess he figures he better do it while he still has the chance.

You do realize that every President has trips paid for them and their Families.....it only pisses off the Right when the President is a Dem....

Do you realize that Bush Sr. golfed all the time, when he did, they had to wall off three holes in front and three behind them. Do you realize how many Secret Service men are needed? I don't have a problem with Bush doing it, nor do I mind any President.

Wrong, W didn't spent much time at Camp David as Clinton or his father did....I know, because everytime they went up to Camp David, we'd have from 3 to 6 Helicopters overhead...

Here are some facts for you to ponder and sort of puts a hole in your attack on Obama, while giving W a free Pass.....

Those who criticize the cost of Obama’s Christmas vacation don’t want you to know that George W. Bush spent at least $20 million taxpayer dollars just on flights to his ranch in Crawford.

The right wing has been outraged at the four million dollar plus price tag for Obama’s family Christmas vacation, and they constantly hold George W. Bush up as an example of how thrifty a president should be when going on vacation.

The problem is that W. wasn’t thrifty. He was the most expensive vacation president in US history. Not only did Bush spend more days on vacation than any other president, but he used Air Force One more often while on vacation than any other president.

During Bush’s two terms, the cost of operating Air Force One ranged from $56,800 to $68,000 an hour. Bush used Air Force One 77 times to go to his ranch in Crawford, TX. Using the low end cost of $56,800, Media Matters calculated that each trip to Crawford cost taxpayers $259,687 each time, and $20 million total for Bush’s ranch flights.

This is only to point out that both sides abuse the Position, the Right seem to believe it's the Dems....that they actually care about the 99%.....

Bush used Air Force One 77 times to go to his ranch in Crawford, TX. So that is 77 Vacations.... yes, 77 vacation trips... and you want to complain about 16 vacations in 3yrs and 90 - 1/2 days to golf

For eight years, Bush essentially used Air Force One as his personal vacation taxi service.

FactCheck.org was writing about the anonymous chain emails about Obama’s travel costs and noted in July that the stories about Obama’s travel expenses are, “part of continuing pattern of false and misleading claims about the travels of the president and the first lady,” and that Obama used Air Force One less in his first two years in office than George W. Bush did.

Compared to the Hawii Vacation; George W. Bush spent exponentially more taxpayers dollars, because he used Air Force One for political purposes in an attempt to distract the public from the amount of days that he was spending on vacation.
